Damien sat in his home office, staring blankly at his computer screen, the stress of the past few weeks weighing heavily on his shoulders. His phone buzzed, breaking his trance. It was a message from an unknown number. He opened it hesitantly.

“Damien, this is Vanessa. I have proof that Christy has been lying about everything. Attached is a recording and other evidence. Please listen to it.”

Damien’s heart raced as he read the message. He quickly called Seraphina, who was in another room. “Seraphina, come here. I think we have something.”

Seraphina rushed in, her eyes wide with concern. Damien played the recording. Christy’s voice filled the room, dripping with malice and contempt.
