Rachel reached out, placing a comforting hand on Seraphina’s arm. “It’s okay, take your time,” she said softly.

Seraphina took a shaky breath, gathering her thoughts. “Alex is my past,” she finally continued, her voice tinged with sadness. “We have so much history, so many memories. And there’s still something there, something I can’t ignore no matter how hard I try. I thought I’d moved on, but every time I see him, it’s like...” She shook her head, unable to articulate the complex mix of emotions swirling inside her.

Rachel squeezed her arm gently, offering silent support. “It’s really a tough spot to be in, Sera,” she said quietly.

Seraphina nodded, feeling a weight lift off her shoulders, knowing that she had Rachel by her side.
