Sabrina smiled in a corner, grinning in ecstasy as she watched it all, watching as Lucas dragged his crying mate through the halls and threw her hands off him as she wept and begged, trying t
Deep within the boundaries that lay between the supernatural earth and the underworld, in a place where no mortal has ever visited, there lived a witch named Susan. Susan has lived in the boundaries for many centuries, and she is a creature known by many names; Susannah, the wicked one, the most powerful immortal, the all-seeing eye, but by popular demand (because of the numerous destructions shes caused), many know her as the last witch.**********Sisters of the Virani, and all my deceased kin,Hear me now today, as I call you from within.Susan was mixing up a concussion with the souls she’d just collected from the graveyard. She was making a spell on a boiling pot of green flames; this spell was quite different from the ageing spell she had in mind to prepare before. She rarely changes spells, but there could only be one reason that made her change her plans so swiftly; one reason that could have been so important, and that reaso
The Virani lived in hiding in the drawls, a magical forest realm that bordered a human kingdom, Bandaria. They brought stability and peace to the kingdom, but the Bandarians never believed this, they hated the witches like a plague. Their king, William, hated mystical creatures and sorcerers the most and would kill anyone of them on sight. Hence, the witches were forced to live in hiding and were forbidden to reveal their powers whenever they visited the human world for fear of getting killed.Susannah was a young witch who had been born into the Virani during the war. A few days after her birth, her mother escaped an ambush with the help of her father and a few other witches, and they ran into a forest, creating a barrier around it with their powers to protect them from the humans who might want to attack them later. Her father, the last wizard, died shortly after being unable to sustain from the silver wounds inflicted on him by the humans, giving his final power to sus
Growing up and living within the comforts and safety of the drawls for 200 years, Susannah never had the problem of not being allowed to use her powers, but now that shed left her home for the first time, things were a lot more difficult. Shed set off the following morning, feeling anxious with a bit of excitement for this new adventure that awaited her, but it was far from what she expected as the forest separating her home from the human world was filled with darkness even during the brightest of days, no wonder it was called the dark forest, she travelled for three days through those thick bushes and it was the worst experience for her as she was left with nothing but her intellect and supernatural strength to guide her as her powers were not to be used during her journey. She was more than glad that the gruesome journey would soon come to an end when she spotted from afar the small cottages that lined the outskirts of the kingdom of Banda
“Oh, um her name is Susannah, shes a visitor who just arrived this evening so I offered her shelter for the night since she wont be able to travel any further until the morning comes. Shes looking for someone who lives in Bandaria, I was hoping you would help her because you know everyone in this place better than I do.”Harem hung his jacket on the stand and went to Susannah, taking a seat in front of her while his eyes scrutinized her sharply.“I see and Susannah, might I know where you are from and who exactly you are looking for?”“Umm. Im from one of the neighboring towns Sir.”He squinted his eyes. Which of them?“Umm. I um”Susannah looked back and forth between Gwen and Harem, she definitely didnt prepare for this, oh, what would she say now? Gwen quickly cut in much to her relief.“Oh, stop it Uncle Harem! Cant you see that y
Susannah huddled her legs close in her empty cell, shes been isolated from the other prisoners due to the charges against her, in about an hours time, shell take the silver test that will determine her fate. Of course, she knows shell fail it since Harems accusations were true and it will be the death at the stakes for her afterwards if she does not find a way to escape from this place soon. How did things go so wrong? She wondered. Her mother was right, the outside world is truly a cruel place, humans are truly cruel. Priya is dead now, and there is no hope for getting the ingredients anymore since she can never show her face in this town even if she escapes. Shell think about the ingredients later, but for now, she has to think of a way to get out of this place. Maybe she should just use her powers now?Just then, she began to hear footsteps coming towards the direction of her cell. The guards were bringing in another prisoner, she stood up from the groun
Rabbi took her to the deep cave he lived in near the river bank. The inside of the cave was furnished with a bed and a chair, and neatly arranged on the walls were some weapons, ornaments and pieces of gold and silver jewelry hed stolen from either the merchants who sold at market places, or from the pockets of the rich folk of Bandaria.Welcome to my humble abode, he said as he led her inside.“You have a beautiful place here, she remarked as she took in the sight of his small home.“Thank you.”She began looking around. “Do you live here all alone?”“My dad and I used to live here, but now its just me.”“What happened to him?”“He was stoned to death at the market square after he was caught stealing.”“Oh, Im so sorry about that.”“No need to be, I hated him so I didnt feel anything when he died, besides he doesnt have
Rabbi returned from his hunt that day with his hunting weapons and a dead snake in a net, hed gone to get some food for himself and Susannah, but it turns out that he spent the whole of today hunting for only Susannah.“So, youre telling me that witches can only eat reptiles? I spent the whole of today trying to catch just one snake! I wasnt even able to get anything for myself. He dropped his hunting gear and handed the game he caught to Susannah.Thank you, Rabbi, she said as she got up from the bed she was laying on and took the snake in her mouth in one bite, it felt so good as she hadnt had anything to eat since she arrived here so she was quick to eat. You didnt have to go through so much trouble for me.“Why not? Youre worth every trouble I have to go through, Id go through that and so much more for you Susannah, I mean it.”A moment of silence
Living here with Rabbi has been like a dream for Susannah; a dream she never wanted to end because of the way he took care of her. He kept his promise well enough just as hed said, he made love to her every night, he surrounded her with tenderness and he also gave her gifts from whatever he stole from the markets. Although Susannah always felt flattered by his gestures, she liked the gifts the least because shed always been taught by her mother never to take things that didnt belong to her, but Rabbi wouldnt stop stealing, and because of her love for him, she chose to overlook that selfish part of Rabbi. The day came when she decided it was time for her to go home. She realized shes been here for two weeks and as much as she doesnt want to leave, she knows she cant stay here forever, her mom would have expected her to return with the ingredients by now and even though she doesnt have the ingredients, she still has to return anyway
