~~ Dream ~~
I took in a deep breath, enjoying the feel of the warm sun on my face as I sat on the balcony of a beautiful hotel in Paris. The Eiffel tower was literally just a full arms stretch away from me.
There was peace and quiet all around and it seemed like I was the only person here. I didn't question it though, I was enjoying sitting on the balcony, in a white robe with a towel around my hair. The sunglasses on my eyes shielded my eyes from the rays of the sun and my lips were painted the perfect red with my favourite lipstick. I felt glamorous.
I could swear I could hear one of my favourite guitar tunes playing just a few feet away. This added to the already soothing and laid back mood that I was experiencing.
A smile graced my features before someone cleared their throat, "beautiful, isn't it?" I heard a male voice break through my perfect moment. His voice didn't ruin anything, matter of fact, it made things even better.
His voice alone brought my body to life. Goosebumps appeared on my arm, my toes curled inwards and the hairs on the back of my neck stood.
His voice sounded heavenly sinful. It had this thick drawl to it, a slight English accent coupled with his husky and hoarse voice that made me want to hear him say my name.
I turned slowly, to see the very man whose voice this belonged to. I looked at the doorway where he stood as though he belonged here.
He stood at the same height as the door, the top of his head brushing on the tip of the door, which let me know that he must have been at least 6'4. He was covered in tattoos and a tattoo sat on his left eyebrow. He had a nose piercing that made him look even more sinfully attractive.
He was wearing the same white robe as me, one that reached till mid-thigh. Yet I could still see his tattooed chest. Not all of it though, just a slight peak. My eyes trailed to his legs, to see them covered in tattoos as well.
He held two glasses filled with wine as he confidently strolled towards me and handed me one, "thank you," I breathed out as he was now face to face with me and I stared into his sharp yellow eyes that reminded me of Romeo's eye colour.
He ran his finger along my cheek and I shivered at the contact, my skin tingling wherever he touched. It felt like I was being shocked, "the beauty of the most beautiful city in the world… could never compare to you," he bit his bottom lip as he gave me an intense look and I felt myself blush yet smile.
"Thank you," I said with a smile as he straightened up and took the seat across me. He casually sat down and then crossed his legs, watching me as he took a sip from his drink.
I finally drank the drink and wondered who the man was, "so," I paused, "who are you?" I asked him as I tilted my head and looked at him in wonder.
He simply ran his hand through his hair and I looked at the action of the heavily tattooed hand. I was never attracted to tattoos but on him, it looked dangerous, hot and sexy at the same time.
"What fun would it be if we all knew secrets?" he asked me with a smirk and raised his left eyebrow, his tattoo arching with the action.
I shrugged, suddenly forgetting about my curiosity about his identity before I turned my attention back to the Eiffel tower that was simply inches from my grasp, "I've always wanted to see Paris," I filled the silence, somehow feeling obligated to tell him everything about me.
"I know, sweetheart, that's why I brought you here," he added with a chuckle and I couldn't help but join in.
Everything felt so natural and real with him. Like we were together and because of that, I let myself relax with him, "so, where are we going next?" I asked him, tilting my head after taking a slow sip of my wine.
"I think Italy is just calling out for us, don't you believe so?" I nodded my head, adjusting the shades on my face.
"You kn-" everything began to fade and I frowned, looking around.
"It's time for you to leave, but I'll see you again, tonight, my love."
~~ End ~~
With that, I felt something wet on my face. I opened my eyes to be met face to face with Romeo, "ew, Romeo," I complained with a frown as he continued licking my face.
I laughed, pushing him away, "ew," I complained as I stood up. Romeo seemed to be in a good mood as he looked at me with a wolfish grin on his face.
I couldn't help but look into his bright yellow eyes that reminded me of the stranger that I dreamt of. I furrowed my eyebrows, seeing no difference in the yellow orbs. They seemed to be the exact same pair of eyes.
I shook my head at my silliness, "good morning, Romeo," I said with a tired smile as I stood up, adjusting my tank top because my titty was all the way out.
I was careful about where I stepped because I knew how dogs were and Romeo probably peed all over the floor. But I was pleasantly surprised when I wasn't met with any of that.
"Oh, you're such a good boy," I cooed at him as I ran my hands through his fur and he purred beneath my touch. Sparks exploded from my hands as I continued touching him and it was so pleasing that I didn't overthink it, I just simply continued.
"We have a long day ahead of us," I explained to him as I enjoyed the feel of his silky hair in between my fingers, "I found the perfect spot to perform during the day and I booked a session at a café for a bit later on. So, you're going to be coming with me."
He looked at me with interest and it was amazing how a dog this big could be so soft and not intimidating. Even though when he was standing, he was at eye level with me, it made me feel safe and protected.
"You're a cute dog, you know that, Romeo?" I asked him as I wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged his furry body, enjoying the warmth that surrounded me.
I knew that I had yet to tell my roommates about him, but I hoped it wouldn't be too much of a problem because for the past hours that I've had him, it hasn't been so bad. He behaves, listens and just sits there and watches me.
"Stay," I told him like I would talk to a dog and he simply gave me a blank face, his eyes narrowing at me as though he was asking me "really? You're talking to me like that now?"
I laughed, "you're sassy, Romeo. I like it."
With that I grabbed a towel so that I could go shower and prepare myself for the day doing what I loved; singing.
"Is this your dog?" a lady asked me with an unbelievable laugh as she was walking past me. I stopped my singing, nodding and smiling at her."Yes, he is," I looked at Romeo who was sitting r
I was lying in bed with Romeo curled up next to me. Or more like Romeo's body surrounding my body in a protective stance. It made me feel all safe and soft inside as I breathed in his smell. I had washed him with my strawberry shampoo and even though he had put up a bit of a fight, he calmed down when I kept telling him that he could smell like me because I loved the smell of strawberries.
~~Dream~~I could hear the sound of waves crashing, and I could feel the wet sand in between my feet. Humid air hit against my skin and I could feel the heat of the sun as though it were burning just above my head. I could hear the singing of the birds and the sound of breathing next to me.
Amelia was sitting on the floor with Romeo just a few feet away from her. She looked interestingly at him as though she was trying to figure something out about him. Her bright yellow hair was a mess and it was clear that she had just gotten out of bed. Even though it was 15:00, she rarely got any rest so I was glad that she was taking the time to sit with Lexy and I.
"Wow, this is a pretty big dog you have," the male vet commented as he walked into the office but Romeo growled threateningly at him, "not very kind either.""I know," I sighed apologetically as I patted Romeo to calm him down, "he gets like this around some people sometimes. I'
~~Dream~~My senses were heightened and I could feel what was around me before I could even see. That's what was so truly amazing about these dreams, was how I was first made to sense before my eyesight was restored.
Amelia, Lexy and I are always each doing our own thing and keeping out of each other's way. Sometimes we'll see each other when we're passing by in the hallway on the way to work or back from work.We have pretty busy lives as young women who are trying to survive in this small
The bar resembled those old bars you see in movies, where big bikers boisterously laughed and played pool while drinking beer. Scantily dressed girls in short shorts and checked shirts tied at their stomachs walked around the place with beers. A few men without tattoos and leather jackets idly stood around in their corners, drinking beers and letting loose.
"Give me one more second please," I exclaimed from the safety of the bathroom as I looked at myself in the rusted and dirty mirror. I smiled as I applied the cheap red lipstick to my lips, rubbing my lips against each other to evenly spread the colour.
The old beat up wooden door swung open as Romeo and I entered the motel room. I walked over to the bed and sat down on it before I let out a satisfied groan and laid my back on it. Even though the springs of the bed were broken and it was uncomfortable, I was just glad to be lying down in a bed.
We were nearing another town and it had felt like we had been alone for decades. It felt good to finally see signs on the road indicating that we were nearby and we could find both gas and food, and I could shower and change. Well, maybe I wouldn't have the privilege of a shower but I can bath out of the sink of a bathroom like I've done so before.
Wade and I were back on the road and the sound of music playing on the radio was filling the silence in the car. I was enjoying not talking, simply, being, I guess you could say. Wade had turned the radio station to a southern one and we had to listen to country music.I'm not a
I opened my eyes again and when I looked around, I found us driving through a small vacant town- the kind of town where the homes were abandoned, withered and old. It looked haunted to be quite honest.I partly wondered how long I had been asleep because it seemed like we had dr
We were back in the car and Wade was casually driving the car. His eyes briefly on the road before his bright yellow orbs collided with my mediocre brown ones and he raised an eyebrow, "what?" he asked me with a smirk on his face even though he knew exactly what I was waiting for.
"Love, wake up so I can buy you food," a love language people, this right here is what I call true love. And with those magic words, my eyes opened and there was a drunken smile on my face as I looked at Wade."Yay, food," I croaked out in a thick hoarse from my sleep as I lifted my head to see
The road felt like home, as strange as that may seem to say. No matter where I settled down, no matter how many people and how much of an impact they had on my life- nothing could compare to what the road made me feel.So many memories come from the road. Those excited moments o
It was clear that he wasn't going to budge and to be honest, I did believe him. I believed every word that he said and so did Amelia. Lexy on the other hand, was still on the fence but none of us wanted to take any chances. It was scary to put all of my faith in this stranger wh
