She Is His Girl

“Welcome to our final year of college, Ms. Ezrene Soler,”

A frown crept on her face, hearing her best friend, Cressa’s, words.

“Hey! What's with this face, Rene?” Cressa wrapped her arm around Ezrene's shoulders as both the girls were walking in the corridor of their college, S.N. Elayzer. One of the most prestigious and famous colleges almost in their entire country.

“Aren't you happy that we need to endure just one last year here?” Cressa asked which deepened Ezrene's scowl more.

“No, I am not happy because I know I still need to suffer an entire year here in this hell and with its rich devils, especially with that ruler of devils, Asael Elayzer,” that name rolled out of her tongue like it was some kind of venom. Cressa sighed at her words.

“Then why don't you tell your mum about his bullying?” Cressa's words caused her to scowl again because this was the like the billionth time she was suggesting this idea to her from the past two years.

“You already know that I can't because my mom already has a lot on her plate to deal with. Besides, the last time I complained against him to our college authority, they left him by giving him just a single warning and since then, he has made my life more difficult here,” Ezrene spoke out.

“Yeah, we both know the college authority won't go against him because his father is practically the owner of this college, so…. there's no way, the college authority would go against its owner's only son,” Cressa said and her words filled Ezrene's emerald eyes with more annoyance and anger because she knew that was the absolute truth. Her college would never go against that Asael Elayzer because his father ran this college and this gave that Asael Elayzer more power to make her life more miserable here, just like he was doing it from the past two years.

“Okay, don't think about him much and just try to avoid him,” Cressa suggested which made her sigh heavily because she knew she could avoid him but no one and nothing could make that devil, Asael Elayzer, avoid her in any way.

“Hey! Is it that watch?” Cressa uttered, excited, after her eyes landed on that watch on Ezrene's wrist. Ezrene smiled at her and then nodded.

“So, you finally get your hands on it. Wow,” Cressa stated, which widened her smile.

“Yup, I wanted to buy this edition of this watch for almost a year now and after finally saving my pocket money for 7 months, I got it,” Ezrene replied, staring at her watch in happiness. She loved watches or you could say she was obsessed with wearing new watches. That 20 year old girl even had that crazy dream of having all kinds of beautiful watches in her collection one day.

“Show it to me?” Cressa said and Ezrene removed the watch from her wrist and handed it to Cressa.

“So you give this to yourself as a gift for topping the year, you topper?” Cressa smirked at her after satisfyingly gazing at the watch. Ezrene rolled her eyes at her which made Cressa chuckled.

“No, seriously. You have topped our second year with such high grades, so I at least deserve a party,” Cressa's words made Ezrene beam again. Yes, she had topped her second year in the entire college because she had always been a very bright and hardworking student since her school days.

“I will…but next month because I have spent this month's pocket money on my watch and I am not going to ask for more money from mom this month,” Ezrene said as she didn't want to put more burden on her mother because she was already doing a lot by running their entire house, her studies, their livelihood, everything on her own hard work after Ezrene's father's demise.

“Deal done,” Cressa winked at her while extending her watch towards her. Ezrene chuckled at her and then grabbed the watch from her hand.

“Oh….we reach our classroom,” Ezrene heard Cressa telling her which made her turn her head and they had already reached their classroom which was mentioned on their time tables.

Clutching her watch in her hand, Ezrene sighed.

“Here goes nothing,” she uttered, making Cressa chortle and then both the girls stepped inside their classroom.

Both the girls entered inside their classroom where other students were already present but their eyes caught that group of students who were bullying other students which made Ezrene clench her jaw, even though this had become their everyday story where the financially weak students got bullied and troubled by the rich students, especially by Asael Elayzer and his group mates who thought of themselves really very high and this always got on her last nerves.

“Ignore them, Rene,” Cressa whispered in her ear which made her sigh because Ezrene knew she could do nothing to stop these rich and spoiled brats and if she would get indulged with them, then these devil's ruler would turn her life more hard here which she could not afford, so she silently walked towards one of the benches in the classroom with Cressa and placed her bag on top of the desk.

Ezrene was about to sit on her desk when she felt someone throwing a ball of paper at her.

“Hey, nerdy…” hearing that voice, Ezrene snapped her head and saw Kairos, smirking at her. One of the friends of Asael Elayzer and a rich jerk and bastard just like him.

“Come here…” he signaled her to come towards him like she was some kind of puppy. Ezrene gritted her teeth and was about to dash towards him and his group to teach him a lesson but Cressa stopped her by holding her hand.

“Ignore it, Rene,” Cressa pleaded and Ezrene knew exactly why. These people could really harm them to a brutal extent so ignoring them was the best solution here. Sighing, Ezrene sat on her desk which turned Kairos’s grin more iniquitous.

“Let's congratulate our topper,” Kairos uttered to his group mates who smirked in return as they understood what he exactly meant by those words of his.

Kairos stepped down from the desk and walked towards Ezrene's desk, followed by his group mates.

“So we heard that…. you have topped this year in the entire college, Ezrene,” Kairos placed his hands on her desk and then leaned his head closer towards Ezrene which made her snap her head in his direction. Ezrene glared at him.

“We all deserve a party then. What do you all say?” he smirked at her and his question made his group mates chuckle. Ezrene gritted her teeth but kept her mouth shut until she witnessed Kairos snatching her watch which she was holding in her hand.

“Wow…..it looks expensive. Where did you steal it from, nerdy?” Kairos chuckled, showing the watch to the entire class and that was where her patience broke. Ezrene stood up on her feet.

“Give me back my watch, Kairos,” she seethed out at him, enlarging his smirk more.

“Or what, nerdy?” He made more fun of her and then sat on the top of one of the desks.

“Come on, Kairos. Don't bother her,” one of his group mates uttered.

“You know that she is Asael’s girl and he despises when someone messes with her,” that boy's words fumed Ezrene even more. She slammed her fists on the top of the desk and shouted at that boy.

“I am his no fucking one. Did you get it?” she yelled at him which made that boy, Corbin, spin his eyes at her.

“Yeah….yeah….the entire college knows about what you are to him, Soler,” he taunted her, filling her with more rage. She was throbbing to kill all of them at that moment but most importantly, she wanted to slit that cruel monster’s throat who had made everyone believe that she belonged to him and no one and nothing could touch her, except for him like she was some kind of thing which he owned.

“Naah, don't worry, Ezrene. I believe you, sweetheart,” Kairos said to her, grinning wickedly.

“I believe your words as we all know here that Asael loves forcing his dominance on others against their will but don't worry,” Kairos paused.

“I believe you are his no one because Asael doesn't like to own cheap things,” Kairos stated, making his group mates laugh. Tears of anger pricked in the corner of her eyes, enduring that humiliation and then she saw him start tossing her watch in his hands.

Ezrene stormed towards him and then tried to take her watch from his hold but he didn't give it to her, instead started tossing it higher.

“Give it back to me,” she spat at him while attempting to jump to grab her watch from his hold but Kairos didn't give it to her and continued to bother her which made his group mates laugh at her miserable state but the entire class went numb the second they saw someone dashing in between her and Kairos and then that person grabbed Kairos hand and forcefully pulled it down to snatch her watch from Kairos's hold.

“And who the fuck allowed you to mess with her, Kairos?” that dark throaty voice ran her blood, especially when she saw her most terrifying nightmare grabbing the neck of Kairos. Asael Elayzer…..the dread which ran in her veins like her blood.
