Ezrene felt him pressing his mouth against hers which immediately started calming that brutal pain inside her heart down which she was feeling since that night when he got apart from her. Only she knew how much she had begged to her fate to get embraced by him. Only she knew how many tears she had shedded to feel him again. Only she knew how much she loved him. Be his best or his worst, only she knew how far she had gone to protect him from every pain of this world but now she needed to protect him from his own self.

Pressing her palms against his chest, Ezrene pushed him away from her as forcefully as she could which made him back away a bit.

“Don't you dare to touch me,” she shouted at him while breaking down into tears and he just stared at her with that dreadfully calm look on his face, like her words made no impact on him in any way.
