After a week ever since Vladimir came into the pack, nothing seems to change around the pack aside from they were all getting along with their vampire visitor. But to Ashlyn, it was another story since she was either losing her temper or even going on crossing fists with him which the pack was amused on watching. They were totally even but there was something that started to change more in Ashlyn and like what was happening the moment when Ashlyn saw Vladimir smiling at somebody.
“MOVE!” Ashlyn was totally pissed off and she doesn’t know what was causing it. She knew that it was Vladimir but there was something else that she could not put a name on. Not yet, at least.
“Hey, even though you’re the soon-to-be alpha you shouldn’t be doing that to our visitor.” the woman and the mate of Ashlyn’s beta name Ina.
“WHAT ARE YOU SAYING? WE’RE NOT EVEN TOGETHER FOR YOU TO SAY THAT!” Ashlyn shouted as she pointed out about them not being a couple. But immediately regret when she saw the pain in Vladimir’s eyes again. She hates to see them and when she was about to break free from his grip, Vladimir speaks. “Kim, I don’t care how many times you hurt me with your words or your actions…but please, don’t run away from what you truly feel and what makes you happy.” Vladimir was very sincere and even smiled at her which Ashlyn wanted to punch his guts for masking what he really felt. But she felt how sincere he was and it softened her. “I am not…running away…it’s just that…it hurts…” Ashlyn stuttered and her tears began to fall once again and it was in front of her mate. “I know…I see that you’re jealous. I h
As Ashlyn was having her own time in her own bed, something made her jolt and get up from lazying on her bed. She got up only to be welcomed by the noon sun. She was not sure what she was feeling but her heartbeat was feeling something odd and she does not like it one bit. “What’s going on?” Ashlyn muttered to herself as she get up from the bed and was about to head to her balcony when she started to sneeze again, she groan like usual. She was about to speak when Vladimir immediately covered her mouth which made them end up inside her bedroom. She doesn’t know what was going on but she could not shake the fact that she doesn’t like being too close to her mate at the moment. So, again, she flipped Vladimir before punching his stomach. But Vladimir was in vampire mode as his eyes glowed in a deep shade of the ocean.
“Silly…by the way, are you still going to work later tonight?” Luna Serenity laughed but turned to Vladimir and asked about his work late since they need to prepare for the fallen rogues’ estimated arrival. “Why?” he asked the couple as he sipped from his blood wine. “We’re going to set curfew just for the safety of the pack.” Alpha Jace answered which was understandable. “I see…do you want me to help you around since it’s my only way to return the favor you’re giving me?” Vladimir nodded in understanding and even offered his help in dealing with whatever that was coming into their pack. “Hm, I will take that offer since there was something I would like to know since I’ve got reports from my brother about the time when they were being attacked by fallen rogues.” Alph
Five hundred meters away was not enough for them to come up with any strategies to make their defense in high security. But as soon as they got inside the office, Alpha Jace went straight to the point as he looked firmly at Vladimir. “I am not sure if they were connected to the things that were happening in some packs around here but, I’ve received some notification reports from other packs that had some issues with fallen rogues' sudden attacks. At first, it was not disturbing as some said they were just passing and did not do anything with their pack’s perimeter. But to others, it was totally concerning one.” Alpha Jace said as he released a heavy sigh before he threw the reports over his desk which Vladimir and Ashlyn were confused about. “Concerning?” Vladimir took some of the papers and read them.
Ashlyn and Vladimir went out of the house but before Ashlyn could even run into the woods, her wrist was pulled by her mate. Ashlyn’s heart rate increased and was about to hit Vladimir but before it could even happen, he already carried Ashlyn into her arms like a bride before jumping high into that room of their house. Ashlyn wanted to argue about that but Vladimir was too serious to argue over something that was not relevant to the issue that was coming. At first, Ashlyn wanted to slap or hit Vladimir’s face again since he was not putting her down as soon as they landed on the roof of their house. Not until she heard a very firm and serious cold voice come out form her mate that made her shiver. “Navigate.” Vladimir whispered as he was still holding Ashlyn protectively into his arms. Ashlyn’s arms around Vladimir’s neck suddenly w
Every dodge there’s always a counter and at every counter there’s only blood. Whenever they exchanged attacks and dodges, they both managed to kill all the fallen rogues who were causing a ruckus in their pack. But the more they fought alongside together, Ashlyn was feeling the rush and excitement as if she was thrown back in time to where she was with her last mate. She love the feeling and she missed them greatly not until something suddenly went odd when she could not see Vladimir beside her any longer.“Vladi, where are you?” Ashlyn suddenly got worried before she easily snapped the neck of one fallen wolf that she was holding while the rest of the pack kept on fighting.Ashlyn went to look for her mate as she kept fighting for the safety of the pack but she could not find her mate around the village. She clicked her tongue in frustration and her temper was rising up again.“Ruen, did you see, Vladi?” Ashlyn linked to her best friend and beta while she breaks the bones of the fall
Even though Ashlyn still wanted to have some alone time with her mate, she decided not to risk it because Vladimir was totally tired already. She helped Vladimir to get onto his feet and slowly headed back to the pack house. Vladimir what to tease his beloved Ashlyn but he decided not to or else his face will be covered with bruises and blood. They just keep it quiet and do not talk much in the same place where they could already feel a very mad wolf that they just kicked out of their pack’s perimeter. Ashlyn knew well about the only wolf who’ll plot something against them sooner or later. “Well, we just kicked his ass…of course, he’ll look for revenge.” Ashlyn muttered that only Vladimir could hear since they were too close to each other. “Don’t worry…whatever he’s planning…I’ll be around ‘till the pack is safe.” Vladimir reassured his beloved
“Why do you keep calling him when she’s a she…and yes, got a problem with me being mated with a vampire - a nomad vampire that was also a fallen rogue?” Ashlyn blushed but she just rolled her eyes and went frank on her mother. “Okay, let’s have it your way and I have no objection over it because he’s making you move.” her mother just chuckled at how defensive her daughter sounded there. “What do you mean, Mom?” Ashlyn wondered what she meant by making her move. “Have you noticed your temper lately?” her mother asked which made Ashlyn confused. “It was still the same to me…” yet, she still answered her mother based on what she knew. “No, you were full of anger before but ever since he came here, in your life, that anger l
It’s been 10 years already and everything was moving smoothly around the pack. Some old folks were now the ones whose being the pain in the ass from having stubborn sides while the teenagers were now growing up stronger than before. They have indeed qualified already as the protector of the pack but the Alpha and Luna’s family has another thing to deal with. ‘VLADIMIR YU-MILANO, OFFICE NOW!’ “Yikes, the alpha is mad.” Ruen teased Vladimir who was playing his nine-year-old daughter. “What did you do this time, Uncle Vlad?” Frans innocently asked Vladimir. “I didn’t do anything…gosh, why it always my pretty-handsome face always in the alpha’s hot seat?” Vladimir playfully ruffled her hair before stopping playing with her.
Even after a week of the wedding day and their intimate night, nothing much changed around the pack except that, Ashlyn’s strictness around the training was now being balanced by Vladimir. It made them breathe freely and enjoyed the training more but Vladimir couldn’t stay much longer than two months. He went back on his traveling. Along those travels that he took, he was doing business transactions and some were vacations with her family or the second honeymoon with Ashlyn. It was their routine until two years has already passed and Vladimir was forced to stay due to the news of Ashlyn’s pregnancy. He decided to be there at all costs even though he shouldn’t exceed the two months of stay in one place. Just by exceeding just for a week or more, Vladimir’s strength started to wear off which caused him to collapse or suddenly lose his balance. But i
Just right after their weird proposal, Ashlyn and Vladimir went on preparing for their upcoming wedding after a month of preparation until it was time. Everything was fully prepared and all set the only thing remaining was the entrance of the bride. It was the usual marriage ceremony, with witnesses gathered around, a priest or a pastor, nice flowers at the aisle as well as at the altar, and lovely music in the background. It was beautiful and magical until the music of A Thousand Years of Christina Perri came on playing, and the bride came in. Ashlyn was so beautiful and Vladimir couldn’t take his eyes off her.“What have you done to me, Kim…I love you so much.” Vladimir thought which he didn’t realize that Ashlyn would hear and made her cry.Ashlyn wanted to run into his arms but she didn’t not
“ASHLYN KIM YU!” Jace was shouting as he bragged inside the office where Ruen chuckled after handing Ashlyn some paper works. Wishing her good luck then leave them alone in the office. “What?” Ashlyn flatly asked while checking the reports regarding their borders and some neighboring packs’ issues with them as well the updates regarding the prosperity of their own pack. “You’ve sent five teenagers already to the clinic again and they were severely hurt this time. Their parents were already complaining about how you train their kids.” Jace frustratedly reminded his daughter about the intense training that the teenagers were facing with her. “It's not that bad, Dad. there’s no silver has been used in their training which soon they will encounter in their training.” Ashlyn answered with no emotion i
Ever since Ashlyn woke up from her slumber, she was still the same even though her scent was already shifted a little since she was marked by Vladimir. But they were still not fully mated and there were times her mind drifted into that thought which Vladimir jolted whenever it caught his attention. He’s a vampire who can read his beloved mate openly. “Kim, can you lessen the heat running wildly inside your mind lately?” Vladimir lowly whispered as he gathered their dirty dishes and placed them on the sink since they were having breakfast. Ashlyn blushed upon realizing what Vladimir was referring to and he earned a slap over his arm. Then she dashed out of the kitchen and he chuckled before going on helping around the kitchen. But at the same moment, Ashlyn calmed herself down and when she glanced over at her mate in the kit
Celestial Ceres began smirking as she taunting glanced over Vladimir before dashing off ahead of him. She was being in her playful nature and went on chuckling.“Yes, actually both clans asked me to check things around here. One, Alpha King was being wary about Tosh's case that’s why he sent me to snoop around about that status here. Second, my grandparents asked me to check on you since you came back to the pack that you’d helped once before you became a nomad. Not to mention you have some questions for me, so yeah, I’ve been killing three issues with one stone. Great, right?” Ceres chuckled as she began playing around which Vladimir has to run after her. He was still carefully carrying Ashlyn and not letting anything disturb her rest.“So, you’re going to make reports about your assigned tasks here befor
Ashlyn's body finally gave up as soon as she granted the wish of their target and especially saving her mate, Vladimir. Seeing the sudden collapse of his beloved Ashlyn, Vladimir’s fallen state was being taken care of and slowly retracted back into a sleep state. But he started to cry even though his blood prince's side was still activated. “I’m sorry, Kim.” Vladimir cried as he pulled Ashlyn into his arms very delicately. “It’s my fault…I’m sorry.” He kept apologizing as he even started racking his body while holding Ashlyn dearly into his arms - protectively. “I’m so for being late.” He went on as his tears can’t be held anymore. He kept crying and it was the first time he cried like that after he had lost his entire family. “I’m so sorry, Kim.” He p
As that conversation happened, something began to unblock from within Ashlyn as she could not take it anymore. She has to complete the last wish that Tosh asked of her and especially, she could not take how deep her mate would fall into his madness if she won’t do anything to save him. She was willing to risk it because Vladimir was not just a mate but her lover. She loves Vladimir more than she loved her previous mates that she lost. “Break the chains. Break the bones. Break free from fear in the heart. Vladimir needs me now. Argh!” Ashlyn gritted her teeth as she chanted that to herself as she tried to break free from the chains that were binding her to her spot. She was using the remaining strength that she had left within her just to save her mate and to grant a wish before death takes him. Ashlyn slowly was breaking free fro
Don't wanna let you down But I am hell bound Though this is all for you Don't wanna hide the truth Ashlyn was dealing with loneliness and the sorrowful mood of Tosh when she suddenly heard Vlaidmir’s singing voice. She knew for sure that he was falling deeper into his fallen side which only fueled the blood prince residing within him. ‘I hope you can hear that part ringing in my head, Kim.’ “I do hear them…you’re near me…” Ashlyn muttered through her thoughts when she heard them clearly. Yet, as her tear suddenly fell down from
