I walked through the aisle leading toward the auction.
My body bare for the hungry men’s eyes to see.
My husband avoided my eyes, his eyes hard as he glared at the man who was to buy me.
They had made the deal.
My mother, his lover’s life, for mine. His daughter’s.
The bloody bastard was going to buy his own daughter, and we were both forced to comply.
His eyes, those blue eyes which mother once fell in love with, Lorenzo D’Angelo, were fixed on one target, and it was me.
My turn came as the men called for me to rise on the podium for the men to see. Most of them avoided looking at me in fear of my husband’s reaction. The memory of the previous auction still carved in their minds. However, Lorenzo stood up and put up his bid “one million dollars”
He knew that I was neither a virgin, or his sex slave. The deal he made with Vladimir was different than that of other slaves, but he did it to make me know how much he wanted me to pay, and what he was willing to lose for that to happen.
“Sold to Lorenzo D’Angelo for one million dollars” the auctioneer announced. His eyes which were fixed on Vladimir, were wide in surprise. Everyone knew that my husband was against such auctions to begin with. Therefore, to see him selling his own wife, that came as a surprise to everyone in the room.
He got up from the chair and walked toward Lorenzo before leaving, Luka was close behind him. They shook hands, and Vladimir looked at me one last time before turning to leave. His eyes speaking the words he couldn’t. However, as his wife, I knew that he needn’t say them; I would understand him.
“Move” Lorenzo said grabbing my arm. Forcing my body to submit, I walked toward the door where he guided me toward an underground garage. The other men’s eyes were fixed on me. The body that was only touched by one, and that one man was my husband. Their hunger could be seen in their eyes, their lust, and their boners only proved my theory correct. A taste of the forbidden was always desired, and seeing as I was what was forbidden; they all wanted to get a taste.
“In” his words were simple orders. He opened the trunk, and watched as I got inside like some dog going on a trip. I took a deep breath and got inside before he decided to get aggressive; I knew that he would if I chose to object, and that wasn’t something that I wanted to deal with, not when I knew that my husband was probably in the perimeter.
He closed the trunk as one of his men ran toward the car door. The car was an SUV, therefore, I got the chance to at least sit down, lay my bare back against the car seat, and still stay concealed from the eyes. I was yet to say a word. Every second that passed was important, and this was just one of them.
The driver started driving and it wasn’t until I felt a hand on my mouth and nose, covering them with a cloth that my heart dropped. I tried holding my breath as not to inhale the drug, but the man’s grip didn’t loosen on me, and it wasn’t until my fission blurred and my body loosened as I fell under the drug’s effect that he chose to loosen it.
“Welcome to your new life, signora” he said calmly “get some sleep, it’s going to be a long drive”
Then everything went blank.
