~CHAPTER ONE~

Flashes of bright camera lights as billionaires from around the world walk into the hall, paparazzi all over them, different cars coming in as journalist and paparazzi take pictures.

A white Lamborghini stops right up, the door opens up,a black shiny shoe is shown keeping everyone in suspense but paparazzi continues to flash their camera lights on the person.

A black hair is shown, a man comes out with a neat and shiny black Tuxedo everyone is left astonished about his clothing as he walks down the carpet with style and his bodyguards at his front and back clearing a pathway for him but the journalist keeps trying to interview him.

Gets stopped by a journalist, the journalist asks "Mr Raul, during such award you always come second to Mr Antonio every year, do you think this year would be different?" Raul gets offended by the question asked.

With attitude he answers " well, I don't see why you have to remind me about that but all I know is this year is going to be my year and Antonio is going down, now thank you very much I'll take my leave" walks away and enters the hall.

"Well guys we've just heard directly from Raul that this year is going to be his year, I just hope its not going to be one of his tall tails" the journalist said as the screams and camera flashes from the crowd increases.

A black Limousine parks then the driver comes out of the car to open the door for his boss. A man comes out with a neat and stunning white tuxedo designed with a black and white patterned collar, his shoes are the latest editions of the Prada collections.

"OMG guys, its Antonio and his appearance shows that today is going to be his day" said a background journalist.

Antonio moves to the side as a lady comes out the car wearing a fitted gown coloured black with white pattern designs, the dress brings out her feminine curvature, the dress is armless so she puts on white coloured gloves reaching her elbow and decked up with beautiful ornaments. She wears a pencil heel, silver coloured.

"You look beautiful" whispered Antonio to the lady, stretches out his elbows as she puts her arm around it, they both walk into the hall together with paparazzi taking photos and the driver shuts the door behind them.

They get stopped by the same journalist whom interviewed Raul earlier on"Mr Antonio, we've been told by Raul that this year is going to be his year, what do you have go say about that?". asked the journalist.

"Well I don't need to say anything because from my appearance there's not much to say again" said Antonio.

"Yes yes, your dressing today is really awesome, I also love the dress code you and your wife used, its really outstanding" said the journalist.

"Well, yes thank you, my wife and I decided to wear this today because this is my big night and darling wife here also came along to support me, isn't that right Olivia?"said Antonio.

" Mrs Olivia is what he's saying true, are you truly here to support your husband?" asked the journalist.

"Yes I came here to support my husband, if he collects another award this year, well his picture is going to be placed on the hall of fame for the most successful businessmen and nothing would make me proud other this, seeing my husband soaring higher in the business world" said Olivia, Antonio pecks her on the lips.

"I love you" said Antonio, he walks her into hall.

"Well everyone we've heard from Antonio tonight that, he's going win the award this year and from his dressing with don't need to doubt" said the journalist.

A black Rolls Royce parks immediately when Antonio and Olivia enter into the hall.

A smart, handsome and brilliant looking man comes down from the car as the door of the car opens automatically.

Journalist gather around him, his bodyguards clears way for him.

A journalist in background asks" Mr Austin your brother is going to win the award today, how do you feel about that?"

"How I feel, is basically none of your business so if you don't mind could please kindly leave me alone, I have an event to attend" said Austin, wears his glasses and walks away leaving the journalist speechless.

Journalists in the background yells"wait please we still have more questions to ask you" but he snubs them.

"Welcome everyone to the 2022 Titans Awards" said the host, a thunderous clap follows the announcement.

"I'm your host for the and I'm glad to see all your faces here and to be real with you guys this award is going turn some of those happy faces down" said the host, the crowd made a sarcastic laugh.

"Okay no need for the attitude, it was just a joke" said the host, the crowd goes silent.

"Well, let's begin what we came here for because some of us are very busy" he said.

"I'd like to announce the person to call out all the awards we have for the night" said the host.

Simultaneously as the announcement is being given Austin left the hall to make an important phone call.

"Well we all know her, I'd like to call out Mrs Olivia to come announce the awards for us" said the host, The light shined on her making Olivia the centre of attraction, she stands up, walking down the carpet the crowd clapped for her.

Olivia gets to the stage"Thank you very much, its an honour" she said.

In response the host goes ahead to say"the pleasure is all mine" Olivia smiles.

Austin walks into the hall but didn't see Olivia's face well because of the lighting effect of the place his sitting.

"Okay everyone let me announce the awards we have tonight" said Olivia,on hearing her voice Austin's heart skips a beat;he begins to have flashbacks of his ex lover.

Olivia making the announcement; Austin lost in his thoughts and says to himself "isn't that pumpkin" gets deeply lost in thoughts.

Becoming overjoyed, he says"my love is here, she's here" said Austin blushing brilliantly.

Still thinking of his love, didn't hear when his name got announced.

"Boss, boss, your name is being announced" said on of his bodyguards as Austin returns back to his sense's.

Austin joyfully stands up from his sit, the crowd claps for him.

"Mr Austin, where are you? come collect your award" said Olivia.

Austin walks up the stairs with joy, happy to see her but as soon as Olivia spots him, she begins to panic and sweat, shivering in fear.

Austin slowly walks to her,Olivia shrieks.

By the he got to her, her behavior becomes awkward.

Collecting his award he purposely touched her, she tingles and swallows her own breath.

The host walks to her to ask" madam, are you okay?"

"Yes, yes I'm fine, I'm just feeling scared since its my first time giving an award" said Olivia starring deeply at Austin.

"She's fine, just feeling shy and scared, isn't that right, Olivia dear" Austin said placing his hands on her shoulder smiling, Olivia breathes out.

"Yes" answered Olivia removing his hands from her shoulder.

"Okay, dear I'll take my leave" Austin said as he leaves and Olivia is left tensed and speechless.

"Okay, time announce the next award" Olivia announced.

"So the award for the businessman of the year goes to no one other than my beloved husband Antonio" Olivia announced as she claps for him.

The spotlight on Antonio walking down to the stage as the crowd claps for him.

On hearing that Austin becomes devastated and shocked, with surprise he says"husband! "

Running up the stairs there's Antonio and amidst the crowd there's Raul swelling with anger.

Gotten to the stage, Olivia hands over the award to Antonio, "thank you very much everyone, this award means so much to me and I wouldn't have gotten this award if it wasn't for my lovely wife" said Antonio.

Austin in the crowd midst thrust with anger and jealousy "how dare she do this to me? how dare she get married to my brother? When and how did they even get married? if I had known when, by today she wouldn't have the rights to call my brother her husband? I thought she said that she'll be leaving with her grandma in Miami and never come back here, so what's she doing here and married to my brother? oh no, not on my watch I'm going to get her back even if it costs my brother's life and besides all is fair in love and war".

" I really deserve this award, to celebrate I'm inviting everyone to my home for a party and I would like to see Raul" Antonio said, everyone laughs.

Antonio hold Olivia by the hand and walk down the stairs, gotten down they get congratulated.

Raul walks to him and says"you want to rub salt in my wounds but don't worry I'll attend the party" Antonio shakes him and makes his leave
