Camilo's Point of View

Just as my anger reached a peak, shit just had to go downhill from there. Alejandro had gone behind my back and slept with Farren. Broke whatever bond I had had with my mate in the process. She clearly wasn't to be trusted. Or even regarded as a mate by this point.

She had proven to me that I had been right about her. That she had been a whore in her previous life and it continued on now. Sleeping with Alejandro had put the last nail in our coffin of love.

Fuck all the times that she had coaxed sympathy from my heart. All the times that I had confided in her. Showed her the brighter side of my world. If she could betray me in such a way, there was no telling what else she could do now.

But her sister had told me she was a virgin. Which made it worse, somehow. That she regarded Alejandro as higher than me. Than even Rafael. Bestowed upon him the unyielding gift of her body. It angered me. Forced a rage to grip my body so hard that I had betrayed my own morals.

Camilo's Point of ViewMy whistle echoed off of the walls of the warehouse. Bounced around, letting the men in the back room know that I was well on my way. With my hands in my pockets, I walked on. Took in the mess of bullet holes in the walls. Skirted past the three bodies littering the floor, with crimson seeping out of them.A fine coating of white powder lay on the tables around me. I stifled a growl at the sight. So much product, fucking wasted. All because a couple of humans had grown greedier over the last few years.Alejandro's footsteps were near silent behind me. His hands rested on the hilts of his daggers hooked into his belt. Those piercing eyes took in everything. Assessed our losses. Counted the ruined packets. I could feel him taking it all in. Felt him making his sums and calculating how much we had lost. That was a matter for a different time. What I had to do now was figure out why the fuck they were here. How the fuck they had gotten in without someone spotting th

Camilo's Point of ViewMy clothes were drenched in blood. Seeped through the thin material of my shirt, soaking my skin beneath. It acted like glue when it dried. Became a sticky mess. Only showering would rid it from my body. But it would stain my hands forever. The car ride home was tense. We had met our objective together. Restored the simmering anger between Alejandro and me. Rafael sat in the middle. Made sure that neither looked in the other's direction. We would rip this car apart.Alejandro had offered, softly, to ride in one of the other cars. I had declined. It would break tradition and that meant the men would start whispering among themselves. I couldn't have that. Tension was already running high from the attempted break-in. If they knew there was a silent war waging between the three of us, no one would work together. Once we got home, Alejandro was the first to climb out. Slammed the door shut behind him. I hissed, baring my teeth. But the driver saw nothing. Or tried

Farren's Point of ViewThe gaping hole left in the back door was wide. Resembled my mind. Shattered. Gaping open to the world beyond. The world I no longer had the desire to face. Replacing the glass was going to cost a fortune. I just knew it.Camilo had broken it without restraint. Smashed it apart with no consequences to follow. Had retreated through it later on, right after ripping my being out of my body. Followed Rafael to wherever they had to go. From the look he had given Camilo, it had gone sour real fast within Lupitum. I had thought the air would return to my lungs once he left. It refused. Buckled and fluttered to nothingness inside my chest. I heaved. Gripped Zaven's arm in the process. We were all still staring at the spot Camilo had just been in. One minute there. The next he was gone. Whiplash. Nerezza shook her head. Braced herself against the small table I had against one of the walls, hip jutting out. I had intended to use the table for keeping keys and things on

Farren's Point of ViewPriamos had known better than to come to breakfast. Alastair had come back down with the kids soon after the food was ready. Both were still in their jammies. Had streaks of chocolate on their faces. There was no doubt within my mind that one of the two men had bribed them with chocolates to keep them upstairs. It was sad to think that I had dangerous situations surrounding them. No child should grow up with fear in their hearts.I had made waffles for breakfast. An assortment of fruits and nuts was placed in several bowels. Jogurt in two different flavors. Syrup. And then there were the three kinds of ice cream I had set out. Nerezza had only glowered at the frozen treats but remained silent. No mother would be happy with their child eating so many sweets in the morning but I couldn't help myself. I needed the treat and eating alone wasn't very hospitable. The next best option was a can of whipped cream in my room along with several dozen candy bars. This suite

Rafael's Point of ViewFarren looked like a deer caught in headlights. With her unblinking wide eyes and parted lips. Her hands trembled on the counter. There were bags beneath her eyes. A tightness to her shoulders. I shuffled inside, careful not to let the glass trip me up."I assume Camilo told you what happened?" She breathed. Clapped her hands together in front of her face and let them fall to the counter. Tired. Those were tired and conflicted eyes."He gave me the gist of it," I admitted. Leaned on the counter in front of her. She nodded. Pushed away some of the empty plates from what I assumed was their breakfast. Her eyes scanned my face intently. Took in every nook and cranny. "And how does that make you feel?" She asked. I shrugged. The truth of the matter was that I felt a twinge of jealousy toward Alejandro. Who wouldn't? But it wasn't enough reason to go off on her. Blame her for sleeping with him. At the end of the day, it was her body and her choice. He had just been

Farren's Point of ViewFor lunch, I decided to head out into the garden. Set up shop beneath a nearby tree. Nature was always a calming balm against the tender spot of my heart. Made my life a little less miserable when misery was all I was used to.Clouds gathered thickly above the branches. But it was a stunning day. Not too hot and not too cold. The perfect temprature. Birds still danced in the overcast sky. Some animals rustled in the leaves above my head. They were the best company to keep. Spoke little to none and never pried into your life.Besides, being indoors with nine other people felt a bit much at the moment. Especially with Priamos skulking about the house. Someone had kicked him in the balls. That someone was me. I wouldn't forgive him easily but having a conversation had to happen sooner rather than later. If it were to happen, I sure as hell wouldn't want it to be in earshot of the little ones.I had chased Rafael out of my home. He had also known about my father and

Farren's Point of View Most of the house remained unchanged. Except for the photos on the walls. Some of those were taken down. But only the ones that I had been in. It had been three days since I had last been here and I had already been erased from their lives. It showed just how much they needed me. How much I fit into this family. No doubt Louisa had taken them down at the behest of Leon. How my mother hadn't noticed the change was beyond me. She loved looking up at our faces from time to time. Admired her children. But I had been the reason her children scattered to the wind, each in their own direction. Leon had taken his punishment personally and now I lost this side of my family because of it. Refused to admit his own wrongdoings and blamed the maiming solely on me. As if he hadn't hurt me. Had gone in to deliver another blow. One could be forgiven if the excuse was right. Two? Well, that was just getting a bit greedy. "Farren," Louisa drawled from the top of the stairs

  • Her Four Cruel Wolves   Chapter 62

Camilo's Point of View It was pouring outside. A sheet of rain came down on Lupitum. On the city my father had built. The city my mother loved and improved. My home. Once upon a time, it had been the best place on earth for wolves. A safe haven. My dream city. The very same one that Dominique had destroyed for his own gain. Back when I was a child without a father, I idolized the man. Regarded him as a king and not the wolf he was. When push came to shove, on the other hand, he showed his true colors. Exploited the business my father created from the ground up. Then he had reluctantly given up the title after my family's men became angered that he was still in charge when I was right there. So, we cast him aside. But my mother could never get rid of him. Kept him around, even now. Her little spy. Sometimes I thought they were fucking but Dominique had no time for such things. Even love for his sons was limited. Which only saddened the little boy inside my chest. Once upon a time,

  • Her Four Cruel Wolves   Thank You

To everyone still enjoying this series, I thank you for your kindness. Your time. Your consideration for my stories. Weaving all these tales for you has been nothing short of a blessing. You are my greatest achievement and I applaud you for keeping up with my (sometimes) horrible writing habits. I want to tell you about the next book... the second last one in the series. Her Original Wolf. Unlike the previous three, this one will not be a reverse harem. But still spicy. This will be the book that defines the lore. The Origin Story of the Moon Goddess and how the wolves came to be. It will be my master piece out of the series and the most detailed. All questions surrounding the lore and why some women get more than one mate whilst others only one will be answered in there. I hope to see you soon! All of my love and appreciation, Alexandria.

Farren's Point of View6 Months Later"Are you sure you want to attend? The twins are so close to being born and I don't want anything to happen to you or them." Isabelle was whining from my bed. She hung upside down. Glared at me whilst I was preparing my makeup. Not that it was easy. On the contrary, I hated doing it now. My stomach was too large for me to sit comfortably. The mirror was too far away and eyeliner needed to be applied close up. I would stand but bending forward meant my center of gravity was no longer in the right place. Throw that in with the fact that my bladder emptied itself nearly every hour and you had one pissed-off woman."I am fine, Isa. It is the grand opening of the Torrez Trust Project. I need to be there. You know how much time and money I spent on this. If it makes you feel any better, just come along." I whined. My liner was crooked. The wing was too large which made my eyes look strange. Cursing, I threw the liner down and grabbed some wipes. All of

Camilo's Point of View"I am heading home now and I swear if they aren't there, I am going to commit murder," I growled. There was a crackle on the other side of the line. A pause. "We are heading over as well. Everyone is done here and the greenies are cleaning up." Alejandro sounded rather out of breath by the end of the sentence. Ready to collapse. If today had been like the other four, he must be bone tired. People had that effect on him. Had that effect on almost all of us."Good. I'll meet you at the front door then. I'm not that far off." Stepping down on the accelerator, I felt my back pressing into the seat. My mother had taken Farren to the doctor. Claimed she was sick. But it should have been one of us to take her. Care for her. Not my mother and sister. Something bent inside of me. Threatened to break. We needed to make this work. Settle our differences. I needed to show Farren that this was for life. That she meant the world to me. And then some. I wanted to give her ev

Farren's Point of ViewWe made it all the way to the living room of the Amador house before my stomach turned again. Flipped in on itself. Isabelle ran to the kitchen to fetch a bowl whilst I battled to get my stomach under control. The girl was helpful until I spewed some more. The moment yellow bile hit the bowl, she was no longer a willing participant in helping me. Instead, her nose curled up and she gagged. Gripped the armrest of the three-seater until I was sure the wood might splinter beneath the cushion. "I think," she paused only to gag again. The bowl in my lap was almost to the brim and there was no sign of me stopping anytime soon. "I think I am going to get my mother for you." She finished with a shaky breath at the end. I nodded and resumed my position over the bowl.Moments later, the queen of the house arrived. Her hair was also pulled back from her face. Diamonds in her ears. And then my world turned yellow again as I vomited up some more bile. Isa had stayed closer

Farren's Point of ViewOne Week Later"Everyone who needs medical supplies, please go to the right of the line. Food parcels are to the left and if you need housing solutions, please come to the center line. The next trauma debriefing will be held in forty minutes." I screamed above the crowd in front of me.We had set up an emergency aid station on my estate. The front garden was filled to the brim with people. Rafael had arranged buses to pick up people at several different locations throughout the city. To make it easier for everyone to get resources easily. It was the best idea I could come up with to help all the families who had lost someone to our fight.Who had lost not only their sole income most of the time, but also their protector and rock. It wasn't their fault that their husbands and fathers had chosen a different side. Or that we had mobilized their protectors to come and protect us. Thus the burden of helping everyone landed heavily on our shoulders.Isabelle moved clo

  • Her Four Cruel Wolves   Chapter 130

Farren's Point of ViewI had forgotten to tell him. Had forgotten that one of the henchmen had even said it to me. Dominique had killed Camilo's father. And I had been too lost in my misery and fear to remember to tell him. Somewhere after being kidnapped, those men had most likely lost their lives because of it.Hell. I wouldn't put it past Dominique to torture them to death because of it. It gave away a rather valuable advantage that Dominique might have had. All thanks to two idiots who ran their mouths. Although, at the end of it, he had played the card in the worst way possible.Let it slip whilst he was begging for his life. The sickening crunch of Dominique's skull vibrated through the kitchen. I flinched. Looked away as he collapsed fully to the floor. On the other hand, Tristan only watched as his father gave up his life. A blank stare on his face.Alejandro had him in a hold. Forced him to look at the mess his father had made. And paid so heavily for. There wasn't a single e

  • Her Four Cruel Wolves   Chapter 129

Camilo's Point of ViewI saw her slipping away from the front of the house. Noticed her head bobbing up and over the back side of the wall. One moment she was there. The next it felt like my heart was going to explode out of my chest from fear. Every nerve in my body stood on end. Felt frayed. About to rip themselves apart.Throughout the entire fight, I never lost focus. I knew where Farren was. That she was virtually unreachable to anyone. Until she decided to crawl down. To leave the only safety bubble she had agreed to stay in. Throughout the entire fight, I kept my eye on Dominique. Made sure the bastard wasn't advancing. But I took my eye off the ball. Let myself get distracted. If it wasn't for Alejandro disemboweling a man charging at me. Or my mother shooting him a second later, I would be beheaded by now."What the fuck is going on with you!" Alejandro screamed over the commotion surrounding us. I looked at him in disbelief. Shook my head. When I looked back to where Domini

  • Her Four Cruel Wolves   Chapter 128

Farren's Point of ViewMrs. Amador looked so out of place on the roof. Rifle pressed to her shoulder. Eye peering through a rather large scope. In her designer heels and twinkling diamonds. This woman should have been on a runway somewhere. Not shooting at people from a rooftop in the stifling sun.Even her lips were perfectly lined in the same color men would spill in the courtyard below. After a moment of adjusting and readjusting the scope, she settled it against the small retaining wall on the roof. Lucky for us, the kitchen was the perfect spot to stand on. The roof here was flat with a small enough wall that we could take cover when necessary. The end of an extractor fan shot out to my right. "Have you ever shot a gun, Farren?" Even her voice sounded too perfect to be of this world. I hoped that one day I would be as graceful as she was. Poised and perfect. With all of my training at court, I should have been better than her by now. Although standing right beside the woman, I

Camilo's Point of ViewI was waiting on the porch for them. Paced around so badly one of my calves decided to cramp. When I noticed the car on the other side, I felt hope spark in my chest. She was within reach and I could better protect her here. Although, our barricades would only last so long. At least she was here. As one, my men slammed the gate shut behind them. Slammed the steel poles into place as well. My father had put certain things in place to protect his family. This was only one of them. The large stash of cash and food in the heavily armored basement was another.Quintez was leaning against the railings. His face was a stone slab up until the car came through. He was in immense pain. I could sense it from a mile away. He had been the one to discover the bombs. Had jumped out of the car and ran full speed at the warehouse. No one had opened fire. But the bomb exploded not too far from him.Threw him clear through the air. It was the first time in my life that I was afra
