We're Coming

Torin was lost in thought as he and Archie trudged through the forest toward the last place Ember was known to be. He couldn’t help but think of everything that had happened in the last twenty-four hours and his heart ached. He suddenly realized that he must be feeling the effects of the bond already. He hadn’t spent this much time away from Ember since the moment they first met in the garden only a few days ago, and it was starting to take its toll. He missed her, he missed her more than anything. When he got her back he wouldn’t be letting her out of his sight ever again. He had never in his entire life been one of those clingy emotional guys, in fact, he usually rolled his eyes at them, not anymore.
