CHAPTER 192

Diego

George just left, and I can not believe Andrew was murdered so brutally. The thought of his head being transported to Serene's house demonstrated how much danger they were in, so I ordered George to quadruple the guards without informing Serene, as she would refuse the assistance, but it was now extremely concerning. I cursed being in jail. I know she needs me.

I am still behind bars, not knowing what fate will do to my future if I do not come out on time. I sat down on my bed, and my cellmate inquired whether everything was all right.

I could not even tell them what was up because they were continuously making fun of the circumstances.

"Come on, how can he be fine if he has not touched an ass in a while?" The other muttered something, and everyone started laughing.

"Rich people have incredibly dumb addictions. Imagine what would happen if he did not make it to tomorrow due to ass," he added, and the chuckles got louder.

“Are you done talking?” I asked as I stood up

CHAPTER 193Nelly I know Max is evil, but Andrew is worthless to us. Therefore, he had no role in what happened, but the fact that his head was sent to Serene's house suggests that we are not the only ones who despise Serene and Diego. But Diego is already in jail; his property should be our primary focus, so why on earth would anyone target Andrew? This mystery is becoming increasingly difficult to unravel, but I will get to the bottom of it."Babe, please let us speak things through; I can explain," I read the text from Mr. Simon. He found out that I had blocked him and decided to contact me from another phone. What a fool! I went to Sofia's room and found her watching a series with popcorn on the table in front of her. I am not sure why she has a maid since her room is always messy. I wonder what the media would say if they had these photos."Hey, Nelly, I am so bored; have you seen Max?" she inquired."No, I haven't," I said, taking a seat next to her and setting my phone to quie

Charlotte has been quite isolated, but we are doing everything necessary to dispel all of the frigid energy. I strolled into Miguel's room and put his toys back in his cradle because the box we had put them in was now full and the playroom was a little further away.I then proceeded to join Neina and Damien at the swimming pool. Damien remarked, "Hey, I did not expect you so early," which was correct. It was unusual for me to go to the pool, but I had no choice."Yeah, I hope you are having fun," I said with a smile."We are trying; have you seen Rina somewhere?" Neina inquired, and I already knew that meant she was not at home.Where the hell could she have gone again? I begged everyone not to go outside, especially when danger was right outside our door."I believe she is at the firm," Damien remarked."Maybe, but I do not see why she had to leave," Nei

I mean, we can always come back to another," the detective replied, but I demanded they carry out the probe.Everything started, and all I could feel was agony, which I thought I would never get after years of hard work. "Ms. Bright, someone has come to visit you," the head guard stated, and I requested him to tell them I was not available. Before I received a call from Rina, the police had concluded their investigation. "Ms. Brights, please examine the progress analysis. I am noticing a decline," she stated, and I did not even have to look into it since I understood what was going on.My partners began to pull out their shares. This is particularly nasty of them, given that we are meant to be figuring out how to approach the relatives of those killed in the attack and express our condolences.“It's OK just ignore it," I said to her."I am sorry, Serene; I know you are unhappy about everything," Neina replied, caressin

I only hope whatever is chasing them does not come after us as well, since they appear scary, but we may form an ideal partnership. I was still rewatching the clip of the fire at Serene's Hotel when Max stepped in with a loose tie."You almost terrified me," he added, and I smiled at the expression on his face.“It's not like you're alive anyway," I teased."This clip, I have watched virtually every post today," Max said."I think I am in love with it; just look at how cute that smoke is," I replied, and we both laughed.Serene Brights deserves what she is going through, and if it results in a miscarriage or anything, it is excellent since Diego's money will now go solely to his kid.“What's going on in that head?" Max asked to take a seat next to me."Nothing I'm just wondering if you are aware of —”"Babe,” Sandra interrupted, pulli

I have been worrying about everyone and wanted to convince them that I am well."What are you doing, Serene?" I heard Grace inquire as she stood surprised at the entrance."Nothing, I simply wanted to cook breakfast," I said, smiling at her.“What? No, you did not have to," she responded, bringing me into the living room, but I implored her to let me continue.“I'm OK please let me.”"OK, but do not do anything heavy or come too close to the hotplate," she said before going to prepare Miguel for breakfast.I was still busy when Charlotte strolled in, and I could tell she was jogging based on her clothes. After hearing of my incarceration, he returned to fight for me and, more crucially, to care for my family while I was away. I know George is present, but now that the guys are two, I am confident Serene is secure. I could see George was not thrilled about Kyrell, but we were talking about saving lives and giving me a taste of freedom, especially since Kyrell is one of the greatest lawyers.“Hey George I know we had our disagreements, but I hope we can be cool," Kyrell remarked to George, who could not change his unpleasant expression.“Time will tell," George smirked “George please," I said."Mr. Myers, do not worry, I will take care of

I can not go home until I know it is safe for everyone, but for now, we need to get your belongings together and go," he stated."Finally, they are going to meet their brother and grandmother," I grinned.I watched Diego prepare my bags as I calmed the girls down after they began weeping."Ms. Brights, you appear to be in for a lot of fun," observed the doctor as he strolled in."Definitely, but I will be around, so it will be fantastic," Diego said, as the doctor nodded and walked away.Pete walked in and assisted Diego with our belongings, as I made my way to the car behind them. How dare you do this to me in my own home?" Sofia replied."You are stupid for not double-checking the property paperwork. This is a house Serene bought for me, but I asked her to give it to you because I knew I would need it on a day like today, so do not push it or I will kick your ass out right now," Charlotte said, flinging Sofia to the floor.Max, Sandra, and I looked at each other in sh

We have not seen situations where women give birth two months earlier to healthy kids like these," the doctor stated as he strolled in, taking notes and looking at my girls while I smiled.Just as I thought stillness would reign, two small screams filled the room, and Rina whispered gently."They’re perfect," she whispered.Wow. Perfection is something I never expected to find again after all the relationships I had broken and the loved ones I lost. If Neina had waited a little longer before drinking, she may have seen the two angels she desired to see so badly.I sat up straight after looking at my beautiful pink-cheeked infants, who were deep asleep.“Would you like something?" I knew things might either go well or poorly, despite Kyrell's protests. The address she provided me was an abandoned warehouse outside of London where many criminals would hide from the police. It had rusty timbers and smashed window frames, and the stench of unclean water and rot permeated the air, indicating that many secrets and dead were likely buried inside. My footfall reverberated as I walked with one hand on top of my bump. Pete moved behind me, lurking near the holster beneath his coat. While Kyrell and the other guys guarded the exits.I entered the room, where Charlotte was clothed in gray from head to toe. I could see her luggage in a corner. I could also smell the gasoline from a tiny bottle beside her.“Did you come alone as I asked?"
