CHRIS

I can't believe the Alpha wanted to see me at their own place... The Alpha mansion was huge, and it wasn’t a place that any work was usually conducted. The Luna was precise on that… no work allowed to be discussed on her premises. But today the Alpha had called me regarding work.

Since Rayhan had left for his training, me and the girls rarely came to the mansion, or as some of us men joked, the Alpha princess’s prison. Raihana, the only daughter of our Alpha and Luna, didn’t really walk around the pack grounds often.

She didn’t train nor did she take part in any of the fighting events.

I now glanced around the large garden. The security was tight, there were guards lining the outer walls of the mansion. I knew that was the Luna’s doing because she was still scared of witches. I knew when Rayhan did end up bringing Delsanra home that it was not going to be easy.

I glanced at my watch, ten minutes early... Seriously, why did I bother to come here early anyway? I was about to k

RAIHANA His piercing green eyes were wide with shock, he looked stunned. Despite my calm front, I was nervous… It had all happened on my 18th birthday. I was meant to have my first shift, and I had felt my wolf awaken. But… I hadn’t been able to shift easily, it was slow and what usually took a few seconds took an hour. Dad had been the only one with me as he had told Mom to leave, realising something was wrong. He had not wanted her to witness it. I still remember the blood, the torn skin, the pain... It was the first and last time I shifted, it almost felt like something was blocking my shift. I hadn’t even been able to hold the shift, seconds after shifting, my body reverted to human form. But along with it… I had awakened as a witch. At the time, Dad had simply comforted me, but the following day he had sent Mom off on a trip to her father’s pack. He had made me sit down and told me that I might be a witch. I mean, he didn’t even let Mom see me. I

  • Her Destined Alpha   27. A Moment In Red

DELSANRA The party was in full swing, with teens ranging from fifteen to nineteen in attendance. All the staff were in red and black just like Rayhan and me, to match the theme. The diner had been decorated in reds, blacks and gold. With balloons, streamers, a dessert table and table coverings. Horace’s wife had popped in before we got here to make sure everything was in order. I had gotten a lot of compliments, which I found really awkward; I wasn’t used to them. But the one who looked the best here, was Rayhan… He wore black ripped jeans, black boots and a red button-down shirt with a few buttons left open and his sleeves rolled up. His hair was tied back, and every girl here was swooning over him. I couldn’t blame them. Jane couldn’t keep her eyes off him either and had tried flirting with him several times, but he would refuse her and cut the conversation short. Today he was avoiding the females smoothly, I wasn’t sure if it was because half of th

RAYHANI don’t know what she tried to pull there, but it didn’t work, and it shocked her. If she thought I would leave her, then she had another thing coming. There was no way I would ever leave her behind… but it warmed my heart that she at least was worried about me. I wanted to tease her about it but now was not the time.Maybe I should shift, and she could ride me. Ok, fuck, that just led to a bad image. At a time like this, was my mind seriously going there? Yup, it was. Shit.I knew she was capable of hiding herself, but she was refusing to listen."Rayhan, please… go!" She whispered,I could sense them now too. There were three."Never. I'm telling you to go, kitten. Why don’t you listen to me?" I murmured, pulling her into a side alleyway. Trying to listen for the witches.Just as she whispered a spell, I felt something wrap around us. She placed a finger on my lips before I could even speak, an

DELSANRA I had never felt more broken than I did as I walked away from him, glad the rain had mixed with the tears that streamed down my cheeks. Each step felt heavy, the urge to turn and run back to him was fighting me. I didn’t know it was possible to care for someone this much, that knowing I’ll never see them again hurt to the point I couldn’t breathe. The pain in my chest was drowning me and I realised that I had never been happier than I had been in the last few days. The banter, the playful teasing, his subtle flirting… or full-on at times… The way he cared for me… He had made a place in my heart for himself… Yes, in this broken, cracked heart. I wasn’t worthy of his time or feelings, and I was far too broken to give him what he had wanted… but… You know when they say that you only realise something’s value when it's gone… That is true. Right now, I regret not apologising for calling him a mutt or dog. For not telling him that, despite the fact

RAYHAN Empty. That’s how I felt. The spell she had cast held for a solid ten minutes, but it felt like years. I was helpless as my mate was taken away from me. I had tried to track them down the moment it let up, but there was no scent to go on. I didn’t let that stop me. All night I continued to try to sniff her out, but it was clear they had used strong magic to cover their tracks. I felt useless, numb and broken. I wished she was in front of me, telling me she hated me. I’d take that any day over this parting. The sun was now rising, and I had nothing. I returned to the penthouse, which suddenly felt big and cold without her presence. The rage and anger my wolf was feeling wasn’t helping. I needed to clear my head and get a team together. I didn’t care if anyone found out my mate was a witch or not. If the coven wants a war, I’ll give them one. I needed to call for a tracking squad. Although I knew that even that wasn’t goin

CHRIS "What do you want?" She asked, rubbing the back of her neck as she looked at me sleepily. Stepping back as I slipped in silently. I shut the window instantly and drew the curtains. "Look, Chris, I know you’re my guard, but I'm sure Dad didn’t tell you to come into my bedroom. What the hell is this? Seriously, I just want to sleep." She groaned. Did she not realise how fucking sexy she was acting? Clearly not, she turned and dropped onto her bed, tugging her duck egg duvet and fleece blanket over herself. Weird, we wolves didn’t really get cold, and her room was warm. Speaking of which… It had changed a lot in here. From what I remembered, it used to be pink and was plastered with Korean pop artists. The bed had been laden with plush teddies, and everything was really sparkly and glittery… Now everything was pretty toned down. It still held all the feminine touches; from her mirrored walk-in closet that showcased her countless bag

  • Her Destined Alpha   32. A Brothers Advice

RAIHANA It was the first time I had seen Chris angry, and I wouldn’t lie, it stung a little. I didn’t really care about others opinions, but I also knew that he was easy-going and flirty. I wouldn’t have expected him to get so moody. I guess that was only his personality towards the women he wanted. Well, in that case, he can fuck off. He waited in my room whilst I went down to bid Mom and Dad farewell before they left. Blake was there too. He was one of the best warriors in our pack and had been my personal guard for the last two years. He had brown hair, with topaz-coloured eyes that often looked pure gold at times. He was twenty-five years old and had been at this pack for the last ten years. Dad had found him near dead, he had no memory of his past, so he had brought him home to our pack. Blake had found his mate from Uncle Al’s pack a few years back. She had been an impressive warrior, but she was killed in the battle of Hecate’s Betrayal.

  • Her Destined Alpha   33. Their Verdict

DELSANRA How do you speak the truth when everyone has already made up their mind that you are in the wrong? There is no way, because even if I screamed from the bottom of my lungs, my truth would fall upon deaf ears. Just like now… as I was dragged before the Elders, no one wanted to listen to a what if I was innocent. Everyone here detested me… I was still wearing the remnants of the dress that Rayhan had bought for me, although the entire back was torn. My feet and legs were bare, and I was shivering from the cold as I knelt on the floor before them. My hands were tied behind me tightly, this time using normal shackles. The square that I was standing on was like an ice prison, a form of punishment that refused to let me move from its perimeter. Despite how broken I was, I kept my head high, I will not bow down to anyone. There were six of them seated before me around the stone table. RAYHAN I had been itching to see my kitten all afternoon, but Mom, Ri and Kia refused to let me. "The documents and passports are here… and your stuff is all packed." Rose said to me, holding out an envelope. She was dressed in a green evening gown. "Thanks." I said to her. She gave me a smile before lifting their two-year-old son, Shane, that they had via surrogacy. "Hey kiddo." I said, ruffling his blond locks. He looked a lot like his mummy. Lola came over, wrapping her arms around her mate and kissing her lips. "Rayhan, go get Delsanra, and then both of you make your way outside." Mom said, she was dressed in a dusky blue gown with sequins all over it, with a slit and ruffled sleeves. I was glad as the years went by she returned more to her usual self. Although I know losing Dad was hardest on her and still affected her. "Looking good, Mom." She gave me a smile, "Thank you, ya Hayati." She said softly, cuppi

THREE YEARS LATER… DELSANRA The bell rang signalling the end of my final lecture! This was it; I was done for the year! One more year left and I’d have my degree. I rushed through the hall, a guy from one of my lectures jumped aside to not knock into me, resulting in his books going flying. "Watch it snow!" He shouted "See ya next year, Louis!" I shouted back. "See ya…" He grumbled. Rushing through the open doors that led to the front of the building, I skidded to a stop, smiling as the sun hit my face. My waist-length hair blew around me, and I closed my eyes for a moment, relishing it and the scent of my mate. I opened my eyes; he was always here, ready to take me home. "Causing trouble in the halls again, babe?" Raihana asked. I smiled at her. She looked as good as ever, in leather pants and a tunic, I could see her tiny baby bump. She was already two months along and had another four to go, but the pup was growing w

DELSANRA Three weeks had passed since Papa Raf left us for a better place. The pain of his loss was felt across the entire country. Alphas from all around came to pay their respects. I also realised Rayhan had made a reputation for himself as a dangerous Alpha, one who would defy every law of the council if need be. I knew the king – or as he told me to call him ‘Al or whatever shit I wanted to’, so I settled for King Burrito. He had a lot to deal with, but he had been here for us all. That day he was talking to Mama Mari, Kiara and I had heard the end of it, but we had walked away, leaving them to their moment. They had needed it and both of us had been so happy that it had taken place. Life had changed for us all, Papa Raf was someone who would never be forgotten. Although we had overcome all our troubles, never had we imagined that we’d lose a king in the process. I wanted to blame myself for Papa Raf, but I know it's not what anyone would

ALEJANDRO I made my way back to the mansion, a place that still held Raf’s scent that was steadily fading. The pain that was eating away at me at his loss was fucking suffocating. I won’t lie, I did break down in Kiara’s arms. I wished I hadn’t wasted the fucking past, pushing him away. I wished I had so many more fucking memories and time with him, but the thing was, no matter how much I fucking wanted it, I didn’t. My brother was gone, the fucking angel who kept my sanity from spiralling completely. The silence in the mansion was deafening. Flashes of memories came to the forefront of my mind… Everything he said to me in these very halls, his promises that he kept, but I didn’t believe. His love, that I denied, his worry, that fucking angered me. I sucked my breath in, exhaling sharply. Focus Al, focus. Today I was going to complete the one silent wish that he never uttered; for me and Maria to make amends. We never saw fucki

  • Her Destined Alpha   93. Make You Proud

RAYHAN NO! It was like watching a horror movie from behind a screen, I could do nothing. I was stuck fighting off the wolves, most of our people were down. Only Dad, Chris and I remained, and we were all losing. The spell in the air was poisoning us, I heard Raihana whisper that the spell was done before she collapsed on her knees, coughing up blood. I was finally able to rip Blake to pieces, but just when I thought we had victory... I heard Mom shout. I turned to see Delsanra working on the spell around us, Mom jumped in front of her, shielding her, my heart was in my mouth as I rushed to shield them both from the attack, but I was too far. I saw Raihana raise her hands, ready to cast a spell, but she had no time… Everything was too late… Just then, Dad’s wolf landed before them, seconds before the spell hit him, obliterating him on the spot. The smell of blood filled the air along with Mom's scream, one I would never forget.

  • Her Destined Alpha   92. Our Strength

DELSANRA "Do not listen to her!" Luna Maria shouted, she was the only one in human form and the only one I could talk to. Shit… "Rayhan wants you to break free!" She shouted, spinning around as she gutted another wolf, they were never-ending. I saw Lola tearing through a few wolves. No, they were right… I could help… I closed my eyes, feeling myself shift, the pain from all the cuts that littered my body healing as flames raged high. I ripped free from the bindings that held me, just as the glowing cage wrapped around the building completely. My focus would be on Elinai and Eldridge, I would kill them, and I would free everyone. "I'm going after the witches!" I shouted, knowing they could hear me even if they couldn’t shift. A growl made me look back, and I smiled as Rayhan’s irritation was clear. He threw Blake's body against the wall, only for Chris to dig his claws into his chest. Although it felt like they w

DELSANRA I opened my eyes, it took me a moment to adjust. The smell of blood that covered the ground… The pain in my body… The flames that surrounded me and the chains that bound me. Something I was used to… Everything came rushing back with full force. My heart pounded. Raihana! Did I hurt her in the fire? Was she ok? I looked around only to see her tied to a post up ahead, unconscious. Luckily, she seemed in a better state than I was. Glancing around, I saw that we were in some abandoned building. My eyes flittered around and I realised I had been here before… a long time ago… I gasped when something hit my back. "She’s awake, keep her down." A voice that I recognised spoke. Reginald? What was he doing here? "We need to do this fast, I don’t trust the Rossi’s" Blake’s deep voice came. My heart hammered, his scent filling my nose. Why hadn’t I smelt him before? The day he brought Raihana’s dress in? I c

DELSANRA It has been a week since the ball, and everything was going great. Rayhan had found a lead on the witch hunter group, and last night he had gone to question his cousin Alpha Zain after finding some information on them too. This morning we learned that he and Alpha Amir had questioned him, and found out that although he wasn’t part of the group, he funded it. Zain refused to give more information, that was not the smart thing to do when it came to someone like Rayhan. Maria was worried, as Rayhan’s anger was well known, and Papa Raf was clearly concerned too. Would Alpha Zain have the answers? Rayhan was adamant that he would know who he was funding. I couldn’t even focus on anything as I stared at the periodic table… I was finally advancing a little to secondary education, but today nothing was helping me focus. My phone beeped and I picked it up, glancing at Papa Raf who was massaging his temples. ‘Want to go out for

Chris, my forever sexy boy. I crashed my lips against his just when he shot his load into me, making me moan. We were breathing hard. He had me pinned against the shower wall, my legs pressed against his side, his hands cupping my ass. Goddess, I would never tire of him… "You’re fucking heaven, princess." He whispered, making me shudder with renewed pleasure. "Love you girl." I smiled. "I love you too." I hugged him tightly, our lips meeting in an enchanting kiss that made the world fade away… - Three hours later, we were dressed, fed and cuddled up on the sofa in Chris’ living room. He currently lived alone, now that his youngest sibling had gone off to university down south. But I knew how much Chris did after his paren
