Don't piss me off

MELISSA'S POV

My new world was completely different from my old one. No one drank a good old beer anymore. Now I drank things I couldn't remember the name of while I sipped around a colorful umbrella and fruit on sticks. My tight dress with diamonds hanging around my neck made me miss my favorite pair of jeans.

All the women wore vibrant colors and had perfect hair, while the men wore five piece suits and had enough hair gel in their hair to start the building on fire. There were no men covered in tattoos sporting leather MC cuts. There were no good tunes blasting from the speakers, and there definitely weren't any Alexander Smith's around to sweep me off my feet.

Nope, instead I got the man walking toward me in his grey five piece suit, perfectly tousled hair, and a clean shaven jaw.

Milo walked toward me with a shit-eating grin on his face. "You look miserable," he growled so only I could hear him.

"This dress is strangling the breath from my lungs," I whispered back.
