Mercedes felt herself being thrown out of consciousness. She opened her eyes in the ambulance, struggling against the paramedics as they attempted to treat her wounds.
"Sedar..." She cried out in hushed tones. "Where is my husband?" She inquired frantically."Awwww..." She screamed as a pinching sensation penetrated her leg.
The paramedics were speaking to her, attempting to calm her down, but she couldn't understand them, which increased her anxiety because she didn't know what was going on.
She quickly found herself drifting back into the darkness, which consumed her.

HELP! Mercedes screams, hoping that someone on the outside can hear her as her body enslaves her.
The pain and fear hit her like a tonne of bricks. Her entire body, including her head, face, and chest. It hurts! It hurts all over, making the pain unbearable for her to bear.
"Please, please!!" She screams once more.
But no one responds, they can't hearEight days later.... Mercedes finally managed to claw her way out of the place that held her captive for many days. She could no longer yield to the suffering torment of the darkness. The fog slowly starts to lift and consciousness starts to resurface. The bright lights are blinding and hit her like a freight truck. She is no longer engulfed by the darkness, but it is the fear of time with no memories that have her frightened. Her eyes slowly start to flutter open as she coughs, taking a deep breath. Her body aches from head to toe, her hand squeezing Ezekiels as he continues to hold hers. He's laid his head on her bed as he rests by her side. Not once did he leave her unattended, he used the shower in her room with the door slightly open. He simply couldn't bear the thought of leaving her side entirely as he had a bad feeling that something would happen to her if he did. As a result, his body was slowly starting to feel the after-effects of being exhaust
Sedar lay in the hospital bed, trapped inside of his body. Through the darkness, he could hear everything around him, the multitudes of footsteps coming in and out of the room, the machines constantly beeping beside him, he was becoming accustomed to the ringing sounds in his ears and the awful smell of bleach. No matter how much he willed his eyes or limbs to move, they wouldn't budge. He felt himself going stir crazy inside his own head. There was a time where he was frightened of the darkness, the unknown was a torturous place for him, but as time passed he gradually ran towards his fears instead of runni
It had been two days since Sedar had been removed from life support, two agonising days of waiting for him to awaken from his deep slumber. Mercedes was finally given the all-clear to leave the hospital, but only under strict conditions. She stayed at a cheap motel with Ezekiel after it was made clear that she was not welcome to reside at the Ozturk residency. She'd also discovered the divorce papers Zeynep had thrown at Ezekiel while she laid paralysed in her hospital bed. She flipped through the papers, oblivious to the fact that she had already read them numerous times and refused to sign them until she spoke with Sedar herself. Until then, she refuses to comply. Besides, Ozgar had warned her not to sign them until he had thoroughly reviewed them. He also informed her that it would be against Sedars wishes. But what he didn't realise, and what she couldn't tell him, was that their marriage was more of a business proposition, and she wasn't expecting anythi
Mercedes rushed into Sedar's room, her body trembling with excitement and the pit of her stomach churning with butterflies. When she arrived, Zeynep was sleeping next to Sedar, her hand clasping his. Her steps faltered, she suddenly felt like the wind had been knocked out of her and the butterflies soon dispersed. His büyük baba, cleared his throat, with the corner of his eyes wrinkling as he smiled at her reaction. Zeynep tilted her head upwards, meeting her gaze and snickered. Ezekiel and Ozgar strolled into the room and low grunts left their mouths at the same time. "Can you tell me what you're doing with my husband?" She exhaled, attempting to maintain her cool.
Ozgar stood on the other side of the door to Mercedes motel room. He held a large envelope that carried the new divorce papers inside, he had drafted it himself, not trusting Sedars büyük baba or Zeyneps' lawyers. He knew they'd do her dirty, and he couldn't let it happen. She was young and innocent, and she still has a lot of potential. He's seen the effects of a broken woman as a result of a divorce, and even though he secretly knows their marriage was a contract, he won't let her walk away empty-handed. Her soul was as pure as water, and the Ozturk name could only taint it. He inhaled deeply, raising his hand, and knocked on the door. *** Mercedes poked her head out of the shower cubicle; she swore she heard someone knocking on the door. She wasn't 100% positive as the shower was running in the background and her ears were filling with water. She listened intently, and sure enough, there was another knock. She sighed, turning the shower off
As Mercedes waited for Sedar's decision, she held her breath. She could hear Zeynep breathing behind her as the room was ruthlessly silent. She observed Sedar's jaw ticking, waiting for him to open his mouth and state their marital status. He sat there, trying to find a reason to stay married to her and he came up with nothing, zilch. Just like he had thought. The last time he remembered, he had no desire to marry. He still found it difficult to find a woman who could sate his sexual appetite and by the looks of the raven-haired beauty standing in front of him, he debated whether she could suppress any desire he obtained. As she stood before him, on quivering limbs, she looked too fragile to be an Ozturk, too fragile to be HIS wife.He didn't do fragile, nor did he like a woman who couldn't give two shits about her appearance. He was cringing hard on the inside, and couldn't believe her choice of attire. She wore a dress, with a long knitted cardigan with Timberl
Early Friday Morning... "Thank you for everything, Ozgar," Mercedes said, her gaze drawn to the twisting of her fingers. She had gotten to know Ozgar over the past few days, as he had taken time out of his busy schedule to check in on her and take her mind off the divorce and the media articles. She also began to see him in a different light for the first time properly, and every time he looked at her with his Emerald green eyes with flecks of gold in them. She found herself blushing, her body reacting to him more naturally compared to the way it did under Sedar's attention. She felt free to be herself around Ozgar, and she didn't have to second-guess her every move. He effortlessly made her smile. With Sedar, her body was sexually attracted to him first, then her mind started to catch up with hopes of her heart following. She soon realised why she was mad at him for divorcing her, he had forgotten her so easily, making her worse nightma
"Hey, bud, you summoned me?" Ozgar walked into Sedar's room with a spring in his step. He'd been reflecting on the kiss he'd shared with Mercedes earlier this morning. The way he feels about her has surprised him; he suddenly feels stuck; should he fight his desire for her or succumb to her alluring innocence? "Would you mind telling me what the fuck this is all about?" He tosses his iPad at him, which is filled with images of him and Cedes engrossed in their kiss. Exhaling, he scratches the back of his neck. "I had no idea we were being watched." He scolds himself internally for not taking extra precautions. "Are we just going to ignore the fact that you've got your tongue down my wife's throat?" Sedar asks, surprised. He lets out a growl. Ozgar raises his head, a frown marring his otherwise flawless complexion. "You're ex-wife?" He corrected him. "I withdrew the case a few hours ago." He smirked. "What game are you pl
