“What was your mother’s name child?” The older man asks, I dont know why but the feeling of familiarity is overwhelming. “Helena Silver” I say as the now full on sobbing older female pulls me to her. Panic starts to kick in when both strangers have their arms wrapped around me. Sticking my hand back desperately seeking contact with my mates.

Closing my eyes allows my emotions about my mother to come forward, emotions that have been locked away for a very long time. Pushing them back down I pull away, only to see the hurt on the face of the older female. She smiles weakly at me, a smile that doesn’t reach her eyes. It’s like looking at an older version of my mother.

“Is there anything you would like to know, child?” The man asks, his eyes are that of someone who has seen too much hurt. His deep voice gives me comfort, the kindness in them is clear for all to see. “Why don’t we go have lund first, Uncle Leonardo?” The man who introduced himself as Alpha Fin says, coming to stand be
