Her first shift

I watch as she hits the ground on all fours until the scream turns to a howl. I think I held my breath. She shifts quicker than I have ever seen anyone do before, her pain coming down the bond we share is immense yet she refuses to share it with Aries or myself.

Ajax is pacing restlessly in my mind making it hard to concentrate at all, yet the moment will never leave me. Her wolf is amazing, she is so big for a female. Her eyes are the same bright blue as Lizzy, totally captivating. I smile at the pure look of awe that Aries has on his face, I am almost certain the same look is on my face.

Adira is stunning and it is so cute when she tries to walk for the first time, her wolf is as determined as she is, refusing help from either of us. Aries shifts before I do, we circle Adira as though she is our prey, rubbing our scent on her pure black coat as we do so.

Before we know it we are bounding through the forest towards the creek, nipping at her heels. I can hear her laughing over t
