Nathan’s POV.

The moment I heard the words “Lunaria is missing,” my world stopped. I stared at Mendy, my mind racing as if it was trying to catch up with what she had just said. Missing? How could she be missing? My chest tightened painfully, and I had to take a deep breath to steady myself.

I looked at Mendy, expecting her to clarify, to say something that made this all make sense. “What do you mean she’s missing?” I asked, my voice low but filled with urgency. “What happened? Where did she go?”

Mendy hesitated, wringing her hands nervously, but she eventually explained, “Lunaria went out for dinner with Henry last night. After that… she didn’t come back.”

The mention of Henry sent another jolt through me. My jaw clenched at the thought of her being out with him. My emotions were a tangled mess of worry, anger, and jealousy. If she was with him, surely he’d know something. Surely he’d be the first person to ask about her.

“Did anyone talk to Henry?” I asked sharply, trying to stay ca

Author’s POV.When Sarah noticed that the pack was the busiest that day, she became curious, itching to find out what was happening or what had happened. Her curiosity was quenched when the maid told Nathan the situation of things and immediately, her heart began to throb with joy. With her eyes glinting in excitement, she was already on the verge of screaming her lungs out but somehow, she was able to contain it. “No! This can't be happening.” She blurted, grabbing Nathan by his shoulder as she doubled over, a wince escaping her lips. “This can't be happening, Nathan! An event from six years ago… it can't repeat itself.” She ratted out, her eyes pooling with tears. Nathan held her shoulder and slowly, he led her to a quiet area, trying to pacify her and at the same time himself. The news had come to him as a rude awakening and so his thoughts were all over the place. “Calm down, the guards are going to find her.” Nathan had said this to comfort her and comfort himself too. “T

Author’s POV.For a moment, Sarah stood rooted to the spot as she watched the intense discussion between them. At first, she thought they were talking about how to rescue her but when she got to know it was the opposite, her lips parted into a large smile. The duo turned out to be Agatha and Lillian. When the news came to them the previous night, their joy knew no bounds as they were going to get what they had always wanted and that was to throw her out of the palace. While the Lycan King was trying to come up with ways on how to find her, Agatha kept pumping into him that she had gone to be with her lover. This got the King furious but there was nothing he could do about it as he didn't have proof and he even became skeptical about the search. If it turned out that what Agatha was saying was true, the entire Kingdom was going to hear about it and it would be almost impossible for her to take over the throne. With her hands crossed on her chest, Lillian pouted, “Father will have

Nathan's POV.Slowly, I was losing my mind. When Mendy brought the news at first, I refused to believe that Lunaria had gone missing in her kingdom. At once, memories came rushing in as it was the same way she had disappeared only for me to find her after six years of intense search.“This doesn't look good a bit,” I muttered, tugging on my hair as I darted my eyes around. Getting missing in her own kingdom was suspicious and I couldn't push it off. Whoever it is that had orchestrated this must be very brave. Abducting the heiress of the Lycan Kingdom was only what someone with two heads could pull off.The King wasn't going to allow this to pass just like that.Shaking these thoughts off my head, I decided to focus on the present and that was Henry, whom she had gone out with the previous day. To others, his tale was believable but not to me as I felt there was more to it. And to make me doubt him even more was the fact that he was nowhere around here. Even though he isn't going

Author’s POV.Sarah returned home and paced around as she contemplated what to do. She thought about the document Nathan was talking about and knew she had to check it out but unfortunately, there were plenty of his domestic staff around and they don’t allow anyone except Gideon or Nathan to go into the office freely so she knew she had to sneak in and cannot tell them she wants to enter hence they will call Nathan first to confirm if he was the one that permitted them.Sarah bit her lips as she thought of a trick she could use to enter the office and when she finally got an idea for something, she headed towards the butler since that’s the only person she can use to control the maids.“Hello Sarah,” one of the domestic staff greeted her when she passed but Sarah dragged her back and slapped her hard.“Where is the gold jewelry I left on my room table,” she yelled, holding onto the maid’s dress. The maid’s eyes widened as she didn’t know what Sarah meant. Lunaria’s POV.I woke up to a throbbing headache, my surroundings eerily dark. I couldn’t tell where I was or who I was with. I tried to stand up but felt my legs were tied up together and my hands too. Fear gripped my heart, my wolf instincts on high alert. I tried to shift, but my body felt heavy and unresponsive. Panic set in as I realized how tight my hands were tied behind my back, my legs were shackled with heavy chains which restricted my movement.“What is this?” I panicked as I tried to move my hands but it won’t budge because of the way it was tied."Please, someone, help me," I yelled, my voice trembling. How did I end up here? What is happening to me? Who did I offend? I don’t remember having any issues with anyone or did my father’s enemy decide to abduct me since I’m his heir? What is going on here? Why am I here? Oh my God! Liam, what will he do without me? What will my father think when I haven’t yet returned, Liam will be very scared and crying. What should I do?My

Nathan's POV.I couldn't sleep all night, my mind racing with thoughts of Lunaria wondering where she was, if she was safe at least, or being tortured or abused. I didn’t know what the intention of the person who abducted her was or why the person did that but it all seemed suspicious.I had questioned some people who knew her in her father’s palace. She was a very good person who minded her business just as she had always been. I had asked that question to know if she changed and had lived recklessly to maybe warrant her being abducted but she was still the same person even after losing her memory and it hurt me that this happened. When my worry and restlessness got worse, I tried to reach out to some old contacts, hoping they might have some information about her disappearance, but every lead ended in a dead-end. None seemed to know about her whereabouts and all maintained it’s been long before they even had any conversation with her. Frustration gnawed at me, but I refused to give

Nathan’s POV.As we moved further down the empty place, I narrowed my eyes as I could get a whiff of some buildings that had appeared ahead and I knew something was wrong.I could see different abandoned buildings all around us.These were the ruins of a pack where war had been fought and people had been killed so there was no one around here. I started to believe that she was kept here. Maybe in one of the buildings but I didn’t know which one they were in.“How about we split up?” Gideon noted as I looked around.“Are you sure that’s a very good idea?” I said. “What if we split up and it turns out to be a horrible idea? It isn’t going to be a good idea to just leave like each other in an uncharted place. It could be a trap.”“If it is, we are both capable of handling ourselves. You are an alpha and I am a beta. We can do this.”I looked around again before nodding and shrugging.“Fine,” I said. “Let’s do it.”“Alright.”“If anyone finds her first, we should communicate through the

  • Her Alpha Ex-Husband's Regret    0180- EPILOGUE.

Author’s POV. Lunaria's hands trembled as Mendy helped her into the wedding attire and packed her hair in a bun. Just as Mendy stepped back to admire her handiwork, a soft knock at the door interrupted the moment. Mendy smiled and moved to answer it, she opened the door to find a young servant holding a small elegant envelope. "For the bride," the servant said, bowing slightly. “Thank you.” Came Mendy’s voice as she closed the door and walked over to Lunaria to hand her the envelope. Lunaria's heart skipped a beat as she took the envelope, her fingers tracing the seal. She recognized the symbol – Nathan's family crest. A gentle smile spread across her face as she opened the envelope and withdrew the letter inside. The poem, written in Nathan's own hand, spoke of his love for Lunaria, of the journey they had shared, and of the promises he made to her. It spoke of the moon goddess's blessing, of the love that had grown between them, and of the future they would build together. T

Lunaria’s POV.I sat on my throne, still trying to process everything that had happened. Mendy approached me, Lillian, by her side."Your Highness, I've assigned Lillian to work under you directly," Mendy said. "You and she will be in charge of her."I nodded, looking at Lillian."Lillian, go bring me some food," I said. But Lillian's head remained bowed in shame. I repeated my request, but she didn't move.Slowly, she raised her head, her eyes filled with tears."I...I can't bear working under you as a slave," she said, her voice trembling.I was taken aback by her words. I hadn't thought about how she would feel, being forced to serve me after everything that had happened."Lillian, I..." I started to say, but she cut me off."I would rather not be alive at all than be a slave," she said, her voice firm. And with that, she grabbed a sharp object from the nearest shoulder and pierced herself.I screamed, shocked by her action. Mendy rushed to her side, trying to stop the bleeding."L

Author’s POV.After everyone had disappeared for the day, leaving me, the elders, my stepmother, and my sister. They marched onto the throne room to confront me but I stood tall, my voice firm as I addressed Agatha.“Was it Sarah that gave you the Heirloom?” Agatha asked me."No, Sarah did not betray us, Agatha. Anthony found the real heirloom and exchanged it with the fake one."Nathan's face was still twisted in rage when he walked in and saw Agatha interrogating me, but as I waved at him to indicate that I was okay, I could see the tension in his body begin to ease. I turned to him, placing a calming hand on his arm as he came to stand beside me."Nathan, it's okay. The truth is out now."I turned back to Agatha, my eyes narrowing."Since everything is clear now, I will decide the fate of all the offenders." I moved to the throne, my voice ringing out across the room."According to our law, Agatha, you would be killed for your crimes. And Lillian, you would be reduced to a maid."T

Author’s POV.Lunaria's anger boiled over, threatening to consume her. She took a step forward, her hands clenched into fists. It took everything within her not to shred Agatha into pieces. How could she be so wicked and callous, killing her own husband and trying to take the throne from her rightful place? Killing her mother wasn't enough, she had the guts to kill her own husband for her daughter and she was okay with it.Nathan stepped forward, placing a calming hand on Lunaria's shoulder."It's okay, Lunaria. It's going to be alright. I am here for you, it's going to be alright,” Nathan assured.Lunaria took a deep breath, trying to calm down. She knew that if she did anything against the law, her rulership might be withdrawn, and her father's wish would never come to pass. She had to keep her emotions in check, no matter how hard it was.Agatha's face paled as she realized she was doomed. Sarah's revelation had exposed her secrets, and she knew she had to think fast. But nothing did. She stood up, wondering if she had done something wrong, and sat down again. Still, nothing happened. The heirloom remained dull and lifeless on her neck, refusing to shine.Lunaria was then called forward. She walked calmly to the throne and sat down. As soon as she did, the necklace around her neck shone bright. But that was not the only surprising thing - Lunaria's head began to transform, taking on the features of a Lycan queen. The room fell silent, with everyone staring in shock at Lunaria. Then, in unison, they bowed down to her. Lillian's face turned red with rage and disappointment.“This is a lie, you wore me the fake Heirloom,” Lilian c

The room was filled with murmurs and gasps as the contents of the will were revealed.Lillian's face turned red with rage as she screamed,"This is useless! Mun is just slightly worried about the future,” Lunaria replied, forcing a smile.“Why are you worried? Does Dad know? You can talk to him about it. Have you reached out to him?
