Upon mind-linking my warriors that we had arrived at the right place, I felt like my energy was draining. My wolf, Thorin, wasn't responding, and my strength had weakened. I thought I was the only one who could feel it, but when I glanced at my wolves, they were all whimpering in excruciating pain. Even my beta Jackson couldn't utter a single clear word except for a wincing pain.
