Lavender:
My heart had skipped a beat, and the world had tilted beneath my feet. I swear, I stared at him for a good few minutes, even though they noticed.
“You good? You look like you just saw a ghost,” Nikon snapped his fingers in front of my face, snapping me back to the present.
I nodded, feeling paralyzed in my body.
“I wasn’t eavesdropping—I was asked by my mom to bring everyone for breakfast,” thank goodness my brain worked at the right moment, and I came up with an excuse. Even if they didn’t believe me, I had done my part.
My head was spinning, and my thoughts were all over the place.
I couldn’t even look back at Easton without realizing I had been in the dark about literally everything.
The nice, good guy, who couldn’t stand to see anyone in pain, was talking about my grave just a minute ago.
He was so fake—all his songs and interviews, all his runway walks where he acted all shy yet sexy—it was all a fake persona. It has to be.
"Anyway, this is Lavender, she’s our nineteen-year-old sister," Nikon used a dry tone to introduce me, with a rough hand gesture.
"And Lavender, this is the youngest one, Igor!" Nikon then proceeded to point at the green-eyed brother, the one who had caught me listening in on his brothers. Igor was just as tall as Nikon. They were both broad with slim waists. If I had to compare them to someone, I’d probably say they were like the hot CEO anime guys, but with real darkness in their hearts.
"And this is Easton, the model and singer, and your sweet stepbrother," it was Nikon’s way of remembering his brother’s online fake persona.
With a roll of his eyes, Easton gave me a nod. I couldn’t accept his greeting—not after he had fooled me all these months into writing speeches for him and clearing his name from all the rumors that basically said he was fake. I was always doing PR work for him, making videos and comments to debunk the poor victims who had crossed paths with him and complained about his behavior.
Now I felt so bad for them. I was such a desperate fan that I hurt the true victims.
"Let’s go, our stepmother has prepared breakfast for us," Nikon, being the oldest, seemed to be in charge of their behavior. He was the one eyeing them and gesturing for them to act a certain way. Either way, I had just had the shock of my life, and there was something I needed to take care of before I got caught.
I had tons of pictures of Easton in my room and on my side table. Heck, I was even thinking about hanging his poster on one of my walls.
Imagine getting caught thirsting over your stepbrother.
Everyone would chew me out and throw me out.
"Where are you going?" As the brothers started to walk away, I began to retreat.
That's when Nikon stopped me dead in my tracks.
"I forgot something in my room," I quickly excused myself, turning around to avoid their gaze and quickly walked away from them. I climbed the stairs, and once I was in my room, I started grabbing the pictures, magazines, and anything that could hint at my crush on him, tossing it all into a bag.
I then shoved the bag under the bed and rushed to the bathroom to wash my face. My cheeks were burning.
My mind was full of mixed emotions. On one hand, I was wondering if Easton's hostility was because his father had brought another woman into their home, and maybe he had no part in his brother's mafia business. I mean, Easton was making money for himself, so maybe he didn't like the lifestyle and chose to do his own thing.
On the other hand, I had finally met my crush, saw him breathe and speak in person, but I couldn’t even be happy about it because there was this huge barrier between us, making my crush on him feel like a disgusting taboo.
While I was in the bathroom, I heard a strange buzzing noise from my room. Almost like something was vibrating. My phone was with me, so what could it be?
Unlocking the door, I stepped into my room and saw a pink bag on my bed with the zipper open. The noise was coming from the bag itself. I reached for the bag, confused about where it had come from, but my confusion quickly turned into shock when I saw what was making the noise.
I swear I never owned one of these, so what the heck was this bag doing in my room? I grabbed the vibrating item and then peered inside, my skin crawling with goosebumps.
There were so many of them, different shapes, different types.
"After you met your brothers?" Hearing a man’s voice while I was alone in my room startled me, making me step back from the bag with the vibrator in my hand.
I swear I didn’t own these, but I had seen the pink bag with Normani once. Did she leave it here just to get me in trouble?
Was she already back to her old tricks?
But that could wait. Right now, I had to deal with the stepbrother who was looking at me all weird.
Igor raised an eyebrow, blinking slowly, as if he was trying to calm himself down before confronting me.
"It’s---not mine," I stuttered, my breathing shallow.
"Turn it off," he hissed, sounding really angry.
I struggled with it for a moment before he lunged at me, snatched it out of my hand, and broke it on the ground, suddenly making it go silent.
"What is this?" he hissed in my face while I pulled myself together. "So this is why you didn’t want to come to breakfast? Such an early morning, and right after meeting your stepbrothers?" The disgust in his voice made me feel like hell. What if he found out I had a crush on my stepbrother too?
"No, I swear—" I couldn’t get the words out while he walked over to grab the bag.
"Let’s display it on the breakfast table so my father knows what kind of disgusting family he brought into our home," his words were a mix of taunt and anger.
I held onto the strap of the bag from the other side to stop him from taking it.
"I swear it’s not mine. I was in the bathroom and heard---," I hated how I couldn’t talk when I was under pressure. It always made things worse for me.
Igor let go of the bag and walked away, his eyes on me, giving little head nods.
He wore a black leather jacket with the collar up, his tattoos on his neck standing out.
He then stood near the stairs and peeked down. "Ayo, Nikon! Come see what kind of kinks our stepsister has."
Lavender:“I was walking by the hallway and heard the buzzing noise.” Igor had brought the devil upstairs. And ever since he stormed up, I had been glued to the wall in the corner.Nikon was in a suit, probably ready to head out for his ‘work,’ but now he was standing by the bed, hands on his waist, and a very upset look on his face.Igor, however, was leaning against the wall by the window, amusement in his eyes as if he was about to be entertained.“Firstly,” Nikon stretched his neck, turning his attention to his brother, “you should not be in your stepsister’s room. And secondly, I don’t care what you’ve been doing in your life, but now that you’re living here, I will not tolerate such behavior.”That was his warning to me.“But I—,” I only tried to speak when he hushed me down.“Hush! Don’t talk when I don’t ask you to. Go grab your fucking bag and go to your job,” he hissed at me, silencing me with the finger he pointed at me.He looked so angry with me."I will discard this blas
Lavender:“Why can’t I go with the others?” I complained while following him.He stopped abruptly, causing me to bump into his back and step back to create some distance between us.He turned around and glared at me with his eyebrow raised before hissing, “Ask anyone who wants to go with you. Go ahead, do it,” he said, and then nudged me, pushing me toward the living room.I quickly stepped away because I knew he wasn’t wrong. My mother wouldn’t want to go with me. Nobody would. So I should be grateful that at least someone was volunteering to take me with them.I noticed how well-dressed Nikon was for the dinner party. It must be a big one. Everyone would be there—the rich and famous people too. And when I would be introduced as their stepsister, it would be a moment of victory. All those people of Isola Vira who had looked down on me would finally be silent.I was sure the news would reach every ear, and that’s how we would be secured from now on.“Earth to Lavender,” he snapped his
Nikon:I stayed in my car, watching them drag and throw her into the other vehicle.I have never met someone who found out who I was and still disobeyed me.This new sister of mine had successfully gotten under my skin in just two days.First, she was nasty enough to leave a bag full of sex toys, with one turned on and out in the open. And then she had the nerve to refuse me.“Hello,” I answered the call, now on my way to the dinner venue.“Did you get rid of her?” Igor asked, clearly interested in the matter.I didn’t want him involved because I knew he would be careless. Igor didn’t understand the weight of our lifestyle. We had to stay low-key, but he sometimes did things just to scare people off.“Don’t worry. She’ll be taken care of for the night,” I said. “And next time she dares raise her head against me, I’ll cut it off.”It was pretty clear she had bruised my ego when she refused to hand over the documents.“What about the documents? We need those,” Igor muttered. “I’m still
Lavender:They had thrown me in the car and covered my eyes. The blindfold, along with all the other restraints, made me feel lifeless. On top of that, they had headphones over my head with loud metallic music playing.I didn’t like loud noises—they triggered me. But I had to remind myself that I was in a situation where I couldn’t get any anxiety medicine or even a breath of fresh air.I was probably going to die tonight. That car ride was strange. I felt the car moving, but other than that, I had no idea what was happening or where I was being taken.I felt myself being carried again, and this time, I was thrown into something hard and cold. The moment they took the blindfold off, I realized where I was.I was lying in a tiny boat. My heart started skipping beat after beat, wondering what would happen next.Would I die from starvation here?My hands, feet, and mouth were still tied. I couldn’t do much except lie there, trying not to move too much and flip the boat over. I kept stari
Lavender:"Sir, if you need anything, let me know," I said in a calm voice, while the sound of waves still echoed in my ears.I wasn't able to sleep last night. Lying down with my head on the pillow didn’t help with the noise I could feel deep in my ears while lying on the boat.I didn’t stay behind for breakfast with "family."I didn’t complain to my mother either. She wouldn’t listen, and besides, Mr. Volkov had been glued to her like they’d been married for years."No, I just want you out of here so I can rest," the old man hissed, coughing as he waved me off.I gave him a nod, my smile still on my face, and walked out. My hands were folded under my stomach and my uniform was neatly pressed.Once I stepped out of his fancy bedroom, I sighed and dropped the fake smile."They should’ve let the old one stay behind," I heard a man in a suit say on his phone as he walked past me toward the room. I realized he was talking about me."The young one’s got such a tight ass on her."My body f
Lavender:"When he’s alone but there are too many caretakers around, that’s when you inject him with this. Use gloves, don’t touch anything, and don’t be seen around him that day. If you can, have someone else hold the needle for fingerprints. He’ll die slowly,” Nikon explained again, trying to teach me how to become like them.I listened quietly, keeping calm and not lashing out before the time was right.Once they were done talking, they waited for me to respond. Igor leaned his back against the wall while Nikon narrowed his eyes at me.“No!” I said, and noticed Nikon’s eyebrow raise.“There’s no way I’m killing anyone,” I stated, loudly and clearly. The look on their faces terrified me, but I couldn’t do it. I couldn’t kill someone.“There you go, such an ungrateful brat,” Igor muttered under his breath, tapping his phone against his palm.Nikon’s lips pressed into a thin line before he sighed. “You know, she’s killed someone before. But now she wants to act all empathetic.”Nikon’
Lavender:"Help! Somebody, please help me!" I screamed while running away from it. However, soon I realized it had caught up to me, so I stopped and turned around to swing my arm. With that, I tossed the coyote a little further away to get a head start.I began to run like crazy, not knowing the woods at all.The cold wind was blocking my nose. And since I woke up in such a panic, I felt like half of my brain was still asleep.I don't know how long I ran, but I stopped to catch my breath when I saw the woods end. Before me was a giant road. It felt like victory. Wheezing like a desperate kitten, I ran toward the road. The moon had cast such a light upon it that the atmosphere made it even scarier. But it wasn't long before my senses picked up on the vibe, and my sight landed on a car parked in the middle of the road, horizontally, with a man in a black suit standing in front of it.He leaned casually against the car, one hand in his pocket, and the other holding a cigar. It was none o
Lavender:I stood behind the couches, keeping my spine straight as the brothers sat down. My eyes briefly moved to Easton, who wore a gray shirt, his hair messy, and his handsomeness filling the living room. I had to shake myself out of such thoughts and looked around to make sure nobody had seen me watching him. Then my eyes landed on Nikon, who had a weird, distasteful look on his face. A very mild smirk appeared on his lips. He seemed almost proud of himself. And then there was Igor, least interested, with his leg over the other, shaking it nonchalantly.Mister Volkob sat right next to my mother, holding her hand happily. And then there were my sisters, who had no clue why they were sitting in the living room. But I knew what was going on.Soon, the news was going to play on the TV. The rich family was supposed to sign off a piece of their expensive land for charity. However, there was a twist. A twist created by Nikon. The grandfather was going to be announced dead today, which wo
Lavender:It had been two minutes since he had started sucking my boob, and I had not gotten over the shock of it. It felt very weird in the beginning. I mean, I felt shy. But then, I wanted him to never stop. That shyness and awkwardness seemed to waver away with every passing second. He was sucking on my breast like he was getting something out of it. His lips were perfectly wrapped around my nipple, not even allowing them to breathe. He then continued to suck on only my tits before pulling away."I think we should not do that," I uttered, sitting in front of him with my breast out."Why is that?" he asked, gently pulling my tit out, and I squeaked."Because---our relationship," I mumbled shyly, looking down when he kept playing with my nipple between his fingers."So what? We are bonding. I'll stop if you want me to," his voice remained husky as he stretched his hand back."But if you want to continue, expose your other breast for me," he whispered as he leaned over to my lips.I b
Lavender:After having breakfast alone in my room, I recalled Easton’s words again and couldn’t help but worry about his one statement.“He has someone he is interested in.”I picked up my phone and typed an email again.Levi: You didn’t tell me who that special one is?And his response came almost immediately.E-Tron: You will find out soon. What’s the rush?I bit my tongue, feeling suddenly sad.E-Tron: You have a boyfriend anyway. Go spend time with him, while I go spend time with my special someone. As soon as I read that text, tears started to form in my eyes.He was someone I wouldn’t share with anyone. Everyone else at the manor had left for the picnic, Igor had left with his friends, and Nikon, as usual, was out and about—probably even killing innocent people. So when there was a knock on the door to my bedroom, I knew who it could be.I placed the tray away and slowly got up from the bed, a confused look on my face.I answered the door to the world’s most handsome man standin
Lavender:I had not been able to sleep that whole night, and then the next day, when I checked his profile, I saw he had posted those pictures with a special caption.“When there is someone very special behind the lens, you feel special too.”My heart pounded hard, my eyes stuck on the caption. And the comments were even more fun to read. One user wrote,“Can someone please zoom into his eyes to see the reflection of this special someone? I’m dying of jealousy out here.”Another wrote,“She must be the reason he decided to work out so late at night ;p”There were many such comments, and I kept reading every single one of them. And then he responded to one of the comments.Someone wrote,“Look how he is smiling. I’m a gymnast, and let me tell you something—if a man is smiling for someone while working out, that person must be very special.”To which Easton replied,“My mystery girl is in talks?”I smiled and put my phone down, hugging my pillow. If the people of Brisa saw me, they woul
Lavender:"Try to focus on the bulge. It should look like it was captured by accident," he guided me to a position where I couldn’t avoid looking at the bulge. He had a huge bulge, almost like he was hiding a whole guitar in there.I had goosebumps all over my skin as he posed and I took his pictures. In one photo, he was sitting on his bed with his hand on the bulge, which slightly opened his robe, and he was holding a book in the other hand. The thing about taking pictures was that I got to watch him when he wasn’t paying attention.I swallowed hard as I took a few more shots. He was naked underneath, and there were times he moved a little too fast and accidentally showed me a glimpse of his shaft.I swear my nipples were hard, but the sweater I had on saved me from embarrassment.By the time we were done with the shoot, I swear I was wet too. It’s not like he wasn’t turned on. His cock was standing straight up, and I could clearly see the shape of it even through the robe.He was b
Lavender:I was almost ready to return to my room when I heard some laughter from outside, and I instantly knew who it was.I ran to the exit door and saw Easton in the garden. He was on the phone with someone, laughing like there was no tomorrow. He sounded so cheerful and attractive. He looked so good in the sleeveless black T-shirt, his biceps flexing like he had just finished working out, and those black shorts didn’t help with my heartbeat.I wanted to go talk to him, but I worried he might think I was being too clingy. However, just as I was about to turn around, I heard his voice. And the way he called my name made me stop in my tracks.“Lavender!”I turned and smiled, tucking the strands of hair behind my ear. I always felt so shy when our eyes met.He raised his hand to catch my attention more clearly and then, with two fingers, gestured for me to come out.He was still on the call, so I began to leave the mansion and followed him into the garden. As I got closer, I could cle
Lavender:My mother didn’t have anything to say to him. Otherwise, when there was no one to feed me, my mother would scold me for upsetting Normani and Sabrina.“And it’s a shame that you are treating her this way,” Easton continued, causing my mother’s eyes to widen.I didn’t want him to scold her too harshly. At the end of the day, she was a woman who had been hurt and betrayed so much that I understood where she was coming from.“I don’t want to. It’s just that sometimes I remember her father—” my mother was talking when Easton’s little sarcastic laugh silenced her.“And every time something bad happens to Lavender, you just remember her father to justify it?” That was such a straight hit that Normani bit her tongue and lowered her head.“Your trauma is yours, and it is okay for others to try to make you feel better. But nineteen years is a long time to keep hurting someone innocent for something that happened to you. Don’t you see? You’re giving all your attention to one daughter
Lavender:The first day of college was perfect.Easton offered to drop me off at campus. When we pulled into the parking lot, some of the seniors standing nearby were stunned to see Easton dropping me off.He left after I got out of the car, but a huge smile stayed on my lips. Somehow, just being seen with him made me less of a target for the day.“Lavender,” after the first class ended, Professor Lowell called my name, stopping me as everyone else was leaving the room.“Yes?” I walked up to the podium, noticing his fancy watch. He was probably in his early thirties, but he looked so good he could easily pass for a twenty-five-year-old movie star. Blonde hair, blue eyes, a sharp jawline, and a sparkle in his gaze like no other teacher I’d seen.“I like your name,” his compliment caught me off guard. He had commented on it during introductions too.So… had he stopped me just to say it again?“And I loved how you were paying attention in class. If you want extra notes or help, you can t
Igor:The fact that Easton took them to see his shoot raised red flags in my head. He must be hooking up with Lavender in his van while the others were away.It enraged me.How could they be playing games behind my back? Was that why I was angry—or was it because my own stepsister looked like she’d rather drink poison than speak to me?I remembered the bored look on her face when I stayed at her place. But now, she was all respect and giggles for Easton. They got back home late that night, with Lavender still wearing a jacket from the set.Easton must’ve paid a lot to keep it.But why? What was going on?Why were my brothers suddenly treating her so well? Was there some game happening, and I was the one being left out?“I hope they didn’t bother you while you were shooting,” Nikon said. He always had that respectful tone with Easton.Even though I was the youngest, I felt like I deserved a bit of respect too—and I hated when I didn’t get it.“The two were definitely a handful,” Easton
Lavender:It was night shooting, and I was dressed in a black dress with white lilies. I didn’t wear a sweater that night—it didn’t go well with the look. Even though I knew my sisters were wearing expensive clothes, my thrift store dress looked way better to me. I had curled my black hair and put on a little lip gloss before leaving the attic. While walking downstairs, I spotted Igor standing next to the staircase with a smirk on his face.“Just remember, whatever you’re doing for him—you’ll have to do it for me too,” he said as I passed by.I stopped when I heard his comment.“I’m not doing anything for anyone,” I lied. I was doing a lot for my mother and stepsisters.“Are you sure about that?”There was no way he really believed I was doing something with his brothers. But then why did he keep pushing that idea?I didn’t stop again to argue with him and rushed to meet Easton, who was standing by his car.His manager and a few guards were already around him, so I figured it was bett
