Seraphine stretched her arms as she sat up on the couch. Yesterday, in midst of talking to Kayden, she hardly realized when she had fallen asleep. It was most likely as she was reiterating a strange experience of her to the man.

As always, he only listened and made few comments here and there.

Today was her first day at work, and Seraphine was excited yet nervous to get started on this. She wondered what her work would consist of.

As always, Kayden had woken up before her, and Seraphine found a set of clothing folded beside the couch. Seraphine could guess this was her set of uniform.

The uniform for the high-ranking officials were better looking, and upon touching the material, she could assess that it was expensive as well. After all, it felt comfortable to the touch.

Hurriedly, she washed up and got dressed. Having a good night’s sleep, she felt full of energy, and of course, there was her enthusiasm that affected her on top of that.
