Couple of teens cornered a small child and bullied him. From the child's outfit, Seraphine could guess he was a begger. It wasn't uncommon to see such children in their territory.
What infuriated Seraphine was the bullies. Even though Seraphine knew she wouldn't be able to help the child in long term, that doesn't mean she would ignore when she was able to provide him with help.
Seraphine dressed in a pair of pants and a plain shirt— along with those scars in her hand— didn't give off a impression of a Noble, and seeing that she was girl, the bullies took her to be commoner.
