Rita’s POV

“How was work today Rita?” Zane asked.

“It was fine, you know stressful too; the usual routine” I responded.

“About your boss?” He inquired.

“Hmmmn” I hesisted to tell him. “No you tell me Zane, how was work today? It has always been me telling you about mine” I changed the topic.

“Oh! You thought I was joking when I said there’s no girl throwing herself at me? And work is boring, hectic.. You know the vibe Rita” He said.

“Okay.. OKAY” I replied bluntly.

“Uhm, so is there anything you want me to know? Zane asked.

I breathed in heavily, although Zane and I are far away yet he suspects when something is wrong, he could tell when I have something to say, he knows when I am in a good mood or bad one.

“It's about my boss, you might get jealous if I say this” I resumed reluctantly.

“I promise I won’t get jealous or did something really bad happened between you and your boss?”
