"It's Baby Dallas’ birthday," I said in peace.

It had been years since I lost my beautiful baby boy, Dallas. The pain of his passing was still fresh in my heart, and every year on his birthday, I would visit his grave at the cemetery. It was the only way I could feel close to him again.

As I walked through the rows of headstones, my heart felt heavy with sorrow. I couldn't help but think about him.

Finally, I reached Dallas' grave and knelt down in front of it. Tears streamed down my face as I placed a bouquet of flowers on his headstone.

“Happy birthday, my sweet baby boy,' I whispered, my voice choked with emotion.

Just then, I heard a familiar voice behind me. “Mommy!” it said.

I froze, thinking I was imagining things. But then I heard it again, more clearly this time. “Mommy!” I turned around and to my surprise, I saw my ex-husband, Marcus, standing there with our son, Marco.
