Adam was fighting with all he had. He was backed up by the Supreme Witch, the strongest witch in the history of the world. But in front of Varca's uncanny power, neither of them could win.

Adam was suffering the loss of stamina to cast his spells. Pegasus on the other hand was on par with Varca's agility and strength, never allowing him to belittle her in this battle.
