IRIS

It’s been a month, two weeks and a day since ‘the incident’. My Clique hardly speak of it even though it weighs us down. In fact that is all we refer to it by, ‘The incident’. The time which none of us want to remember, at first it was hard for them. To ignore the dark circles under my eyes when I wake up, the fact that they wanted me to know that it was okay to not be okay, that it was okay to break down. Especially Vane and Vine, their shifter sense riding on them very hard because they were Alphas and it was their job to give comfort to those who they deemed as a part of their pack. Something Cirdan explained to me when they shifted into their animals in the middle of the cafeteria just to press their bodies against mine.
