"Hey beautiful, sorry I kept you waiting," Ryan said with a sheepish smile when he finally spotted Adrienne.

After finishing his phone call, he had returned to find her missing from the couch. He called out her name, but there was no response. Taking a step outside, he found her reclining on one of the sun loungers.

"It's okay, I was actually enjoying the evening view," Adrienne replied, a slight twinkle in her eyes.

"Really?" Ryan raised an eyebrow, genuinely surprised.

"Yeah. Let's watch the sunset together," Adrienne suggested, a smile on her lips.

"Should I lie on you?" Ryan teasingly asked.

"Yes, you absolutely should," Adrienne responded, playing along and causing Ryan to chuckle.

He settled onto a sun lounger adjacent to Adrienne's.

"So, was it an important business call?" she asked, her gaze fixing on the slowly descending sun.

"Yeah, unfortunately. I have to head somewhere tomorrow," Ryan answered with a hint of disappointment in his voice.
