"Martin isn't around?" Michael repeated, his brows furrowing in confusion.

"Yeah," confirmed the man with a shrug.

"Where did he go this early Monday morning?" Michael inquired, crossing his arms.

"You know I can't tell you that," the man replied.

"Come on, man. If it's some top secret mission, then I get it," Michael pleaded.

"He just went out for coffee though," the man confessed.

"Coffee? Martin did?" Michael was taken aback, his disbelief evident.

"I know, right? I was as shocked as you when he informed me before he left," the man chuckled, shaking his head.

"Hm. Coffee... coffee..." Michael muttered, his eyes scanning the room before they widened in realization.

"Dang it!" he exclaimed, a muffled curse escaping his lips as he sprinted towards the exit.
