My spirit awoke when I felt the sunlight hitting my skin from the window. I rubbed my eyes before sitting up in bed. I yawned before stretching. But I also immediately stood up when I smelled something like it was burning. My eyes widened and I hurried out of my room. I quickly ran down the stairs to the kitchen. There I found Prince Neo on the stove.
"Kuya Neo!" I just cried when I saw the big fire on the stove. I immediately grabbed a bowl and fetched water from the sink and sprinkled it on the fire.
"Are you alright?" I asked him. He just nodded.

Thank you for giving me inspirations and giving me thousands of reasons to continue writing. The truth is, when I started writing my first story, which is this story, I always doubt myself. And always question myself. Can I do this? Can I meet the reader's expectations? Can I get their attention? Will anyone support me? Will I still bleed or should just stop writing? But then I realized, with or without readers, I should keep on bleeding. I should keep on writing. Because I'm not writing to impress. I'm writing to express. It doesn't matter if I do not reach the reader's expectation, instead, expect the unexpected.
