Chapter -27

Grace cursed behind him as he disappeared into the bathroom. Quickly changing into her silk pyjamas, she stretched her legs and arms feeling sore. The flight had made her tired and now all she wanted was to sleep and rest. But strangely it was nowhere near her. Her stomach growled. Feeling hungry and thirsty she went to the kitchen to look for something to eat. After shuffling through cabinets, she found nothing but empty utensils and crockery. The fridge was empty. However, there were a few bottles of what looked like water, and some juice and alcohol stuffed in the fridge. Grace sighed. If not hunger, at least she should calm her throat down. She grabbed the nearest bottle not bothering to check the label and poured it into the glass.
