Tippa finally raced from the house heading to her car and she stopped in the middle of the snow-covered driveway and leaned over, resting her hands on her thighs, trying to catch her breath.

"I used to be more fit than this. What's going on? It's like, I'm out of shape or something. All those early mornings on the treadmill nearly every day of my adult life, it better count for something.”

She finally made it to her car, looking at her snow tires that already had an accumulation of two feet of packed snow.

“Okay, this is what I paid for all that money for good snow tires. She muttered to herself, turning on the ignition and then straightening the wheel and shifting into drive two. She slowly backs out, and her wheel turns with ease in the snow.

Tippa had never driven in the snow. When she thought she had the hang of it then she would encounter an icy patch
