Tamara stared at Sebastian’s handsome face. She could see the amusement in his eyes. He looked like he was waiting for her to pounce on him.

It was all coming together.

Tamara finally understood.

The reason for Sebastian’s sudden compliance to stay on the first floor was not lost on her.

He was planning for this exact moment.

They were still young and rambunctious. With everything that had happened in the previous few years, they hadn’t had much alone time.

Since everything was settling down, they should have started living in the same room.

However, he had taken her jest to heart and was now seeking retribution, albeit in an irritating manner.

Tamara took a deep breath to calm herself down. Her voice was still soft, but there was a firmness behind it. “Do you really think that I can’t fall asleep without you by my side?”

Tamara huffed and stomped out of the room.

She swore under her breath, “Damn it!”

Tamara was filled with annoyance.

Sebastian cocked an eyebrow at Tamara’
