Tamara chortled.

Then, the ward was shrouded in silence. Tamara was focused on tinkering with her items, so she did not spare James a second look.

Meanwhile, James watched her work with a happy gleam in his eyes. His smile grew wider with time.

He looked like a colossal pervert.

When noon came, Tamara began packing up her things. Then, she said, “I’m going out to eat.”

James replied, “Aren’t you going to have lunch with me?”

Tamara regarded him impassively. A moment later, she suddenly said, “If you don’t mind me throwing up while I eat, sure. I can have lunch with you.”

James was rendered speechless.

His expression darkened. “Tamara, are you trying to test my patience?”

Tamara laughed. “Of course not. I was just stating facts, after all. So, I think it’s best if I leave for now.”
