Tamara giggled, “Master, you’re not even in your forties yet. You have to take good care of yourself.”

George smiled and shook his head. “I may look young, but I have an old soul.”

As they were conversing, the group headed for the ward.

“Benjamin had taken the cure. Now it’s up to him to decide how well he recovers,” informed George.

Tamara nodded, “Since he’s awake, that means he’s already doing better than before.”

The curse would be lifted as long as Benjamin was fine. They wouldn’t have to worry about Kayla anymore.

Back in the ward, Margot sat by the bedside talking to Benjamin. Jayden and Camilla had already left while Austin was noting down Benjamin’s readings.

“Margot, Benjamin had just woken up. Give him a breather. You’ll have plenty of time to catch up later,” Tamara piped in.

Margot nodded, “You’re right. He’s not going to die on me. I’ll make sure to talk his ears off for the rest of our days together.”

Benjamin, who was lying on the bed, laughed. “Yes. For the re
