South of the city, at a horse racing track.

Margot led Tamara into the horse racing track, where she noticed a group of wealthy heirs conversing with the female companions in their arms.

“Why, if it isn’t Margot!”

Randy Wecker released the woman in his arms and walked over to Margot. His smile widened upon seeing the woman’s beautiful face. Then, he shifted his gaze over to Tamara and looked incredibly surprised. “Damn, I suppose a pretty woman like you would also have pretty friends. Who might you be?”

Margot made the introduction. “This is my friend, Tamara Moore. Tammy, this is Randy Wecker.”

Tamara greeted, “Nice to meet you.”

Randy waved his hand. “Any friend of Margot’s is a friend of mine. Let’s move past the introductions, shall we? Miss Moore, do you know how to ride horses?”

Tamara nodded. “A little.”

Randy was surprised. “You’re free to pick one out. Why don’t you pick one you like?”
