Chapter 272 A Proper Explanation

Tamara tossed and turned in bed late at night. She checked her phone now and then, but there were no new notifications.

That only added to her frustrations. After a while, she realized she couldn’t sleep even if she remained in bed, so she stood up to go downstairs and get some water.

It was dark downstairs. She noticed some light shining through from outside after walking around the area.

Tamara was taken aback. When she looked outside, she noticed that the porch was brightly lit and a car was parked at the entrance. A tall figure could be seen leaning against the car, holding a lit cigarette between his fingers.

Tamara blinked at the sight. Was that… Sebastian?

He came back?

Why didn’t he just come right in?

Tamara walked up to the front door with a glass in her hand, her eyes fixed on him quietly.

Sebastian was stunned for a moment. Then, he put out his cigarette and waited a few moments before walking up to her. “You saw me, didn’t you?”
