Tamara’s heart skipped a beat when she heard his voice. She anxiously hung up the phone and texted Sebastian: “Where are you?”

Sebastian replied: “On my way home. Did you call earlier?”

Tamara replied: “Eugenia answered. Why was she in your room?”

Tamara cut right to the chase. She was eager to get to the bottom of this.

Sebastian answered: “I’ll tell you when I get home.”

Tamara stared at his reply before she put away her phone.

The weird feeling inside her faded.

She was relieved when Sebastian agreed to explain everything to her.

The soup’s aroma beckoned for Tamara’s attention, and she happily complied.

After 20 minutes, Sebastian arrived home.

A servant helped change him out of his work shoes. Sebastian saw Tamara on the couch.

Tamara was dressed in a yellow dress and was playing with a teddy bear. Her braided hair fell across her shoulders, and a smile accompanied her usual gentle expression as she conversed with Ms. Thompson.
