"Oh," Margot responded indifferently

Eric's brows furrowed tightly.

That was it? Was she not afraid?

She had seen how miserable those people were. Was she that strong mentally?

Margot continued to stare at Eric expressionlessly. Eric immediately asked, "Why are you looking at me like that?"

Margot shrugged. "You were the one staring first."

Eric fell silent. He was a bit confused. No, he was very confused.

Margot walked out of the courtyard and headed back to the villa. Eric followed her. He didn't know what to say as he watched her seemingly carefree demeanor.

Back at the villa, Margot went upstairs without looking at Eric once.

Eric went to the study, and Andrew immediately asked, "How is she?"

Eric had a strange look on his face, and the scars on his face seemed less ferocious. After some hesitation, he muttered lowly, "She ... seems off."
