Shane fell silent. "You'd better keep your word."

With that, he hung up the phone.

Tamara asked, "Did Shane question you?"

"Yes." Margot nodded.

Tamara sighed. "We're not sure which memories Benjamin lost. So I can understand why Shane is angry."

Margot took a bite of the bread and looked at Tamara. "Tammy, can you help me check in on him?"

Tamara nodded. "Sure."

It was easy for her to get close to Benjamin. All she had to do was talk to Sebastian. However ...

"I'm afraid that by the time Benjamin returns, you'd already be at Nammu Bay. You won't be able to receive our messages there." Tamara frowned.

Margot said, "Just check on him. You can tell me when I come back."

"That works," Tamara agreed with a nod.

After eating, Margot went straight to Tamara's room. She took a shower and lay down on the bed for a nap.

It was noon when she woke up. She stared blankly at the scenery outside the window. Memories of the moments she spent with Benjamin last night surfaced in her mind.
