Margot turned over. "Good night."

Benjamin stood by the bed, staring at her for a while before he turned off the lights and left the room.

"Margot, the elixir has been developed." Tamara's tone was calm. She then asked, "When do you want it?"

Margot stopped twirling her pen. "Today. There isn't much time left."

"Alright, I'll bring it to you." Tamara nodded.

Margot replied, "By the way, how is Aunt Alex's research regarding the king of cursed bugs?"

Tamara chuckled. "She's done with her research. I'll bring it along with the elixir."

"Okay." Margot hung up the phone.

She closed the account book and thought about her decision. Suddenly, a painful feeling arose in her chest.
