Chapter 1561 Drugged

Margot tensed at Alex's words and instinctively stood up from the couch. When she noticed the gentle look Alex was giving her, she asked, "What are you talking about?"

Alex studied her carefully before retracting her gaze. "I mean, you live alone outside. So you must know a thing or two. It would be nice if you could visit Tammy more often and share interesting stories with her."

"Oh, yes. I will." Margot nodded. But she had other ideas.

Alex's words surely meant that she knew something was up. Could it be that she knew about her conversation with Tamara? Had she figured them out?

Alex turned and left the room.

Margot grabbed Tamara's hands. "Tammy, that scared me."

Tamara was also startled, and she hurriedly signed, "What happened? Did my mom find out what I've been doing?"

Margot frowned. "It's very possible. You should find an opportunity to test her and see how she reacts to it."

Tamara nodded.

Margot sat back down and picked up some fruit to eat, hoping it would calm her
