Chapter 1489 Scott Leaves the Research Institute

After Camilla finished speaking, she didn't pay any more attention to Scott and walked toward the changing room.

Scott watched her retreating figure, his hands curling into fists.

Scott was left questioning how circumstances had evolved into their current state.

Everything had been planned out.

Once Nathan died, his death would fuel Camilla's hatred for Jayden. She might even kill him. Yet, the two of them had reconciled.

Scott spat under his breath, "Damn it!"

He bit down his emotions and left the research institute after that.

Camilla didn't give Scott a second thought. Her top priority now was to research Jayden's illness.

When she came out of the lab to grab herself a drink, her phone suddenly rang.

She took out her phone and saw that it was a call from Tamara.

"Hello, Tammy," answered Camilla.

"Where are you, Camilla? Are you at the research institute?" Tamara's voice came through the phone.

"Yes." Camilla unconsciously held her breath. "Have you found a cure?
