Jackie's face darkened, but he didn't argue. Instead, he coldly stared down Jonathan.

Jonathan remained unbothered.

However, the atmosphere in the living room grew tense.

Cheryl looked at Jonathan. She didn't know what he was thinking.

Jenna glanced at Jackie. "I'll check up on Camilla. The medicine should have taken effect by now."

"I'll go with you," Cheryl immediately offered.

Jenna nodded, and the two of them went upstairs together.

Tamara's eyes flickered, and she also stood up. "I'll go check on Camilla too."

In an instant, only Jackie and Jonathan remained in the living room.

Jackie suddenly chuckled. "Mr. Moore, what would you like to talk about?"

Jonathan's gaze turned cold. "Jackie, you were fast to escape before I could get any evidence to use against you. But I haven't forgotten about that. Do you remember your good friend, Elijah Morrison?"

Jackie's eyes narrowed. "What do you mean by that? We're not young anymore. Are you trying to bring up old grievances?"
