"It's all in the past now. I never expected to meet you here; approaching you was just on a whim. If you feel uncomfortable with it, we can end it here."

Solomon let out a long sigh, his gaze resting calmly upon Helena.

Helena blinked. "Where's your sincerity?"

"What?" Solomon froze.

"I was listening to the story with great interest, yet you left me on a cliffhanger. Do you know how despicable you are being?" Helena furrowed her brows at him.

Eagerly awaiting for his next words in the story, she was disappointed when he veered off-topic and ceased talking altogether. She couldn't help but wonder if he was simply too afraid to continue.

Solomon remained frozen, his frustration building in response to her words. "Are you saying you can't remember what you said yourself?"

Helena hesitated. "I've said many things in my life. Are you expecting me to remember every word that ever came out of my mouth?"
