"You okay," Mike asks as he watches me place more hay in one of the stalls.

I nod and keep my eyes on my hands.

It's been four days since we buried Stanley and I haven't said much since we got back. I feel so out of place and guilty that I can't will myself to look Tabitha in the eye.
