I batted my lashes repeatedly as I stared at him.

What is he trying to do? Threaten me?

I scoffed at the thoughts wondering why I should be scared of his foolish words.

Caleb chuckled and moved away from me, returning to the wheelchair.

I let out a breath I never realized I was holding when he was a few inches away from me.

“You understand what I mean, Miss Rosy?” He grinned.

I narrowed my eyes, sending a glare across to him.

“Are you playing games with me?” I scoffed.

He crooned his neck, twitching his lips.

I clenched my stomach as it fluttered when he did that innocent act.

“Is that what you want to call it?” his eyes twinkled happily.

“You have no repentance, Caleb,” I snapped and he giggled.

“You seem to be a bit dumb, dear ex-wife.”

His brusque statement made me flare up in anger.

Is he calling me dumb? That stupid bastard.
