"What exactly is my job again" I asked Della as we both stood in front of Anderson's Enterprises.

"Distract her for me. How many times am i going to tell you that?"

"How do i go about it?" I asked.

"I don't know, use that brain of yours"

"And what are you planning to do when i do that?"

"That's my job, leave it to me and do yours"

"Alright, no need to be so grumpy about it" I muttered

We walked into Ethan's lounge and i walked up to the secretary Lillian desk.

"Good morning"

"Good morning ma'am. How may i help you?"

"Am asking for Miss Lillian James"

"Am the one. Is there any problem?"

"You have a parcel waiting for you downstairs, a guy with a blue jacket and a matching cap asked for me to inform you" I said in hope that this is going to work out.

"Thank you....Probably the package justin ordered" She said muttering to herself while away looking for the non-existant guy.

"What are you planning on taking?"I asked Del

"This" She said while showing me the Lillian's phone.

"And if she starts looking for it."

"That's why i prepared this" She said while showing me a very similar phone.

We did our business and ran off before Lillian could start suspecting me.

"I still don't know how you plan on opening that" I said while gesturing to the phone in her hand.

"I don't if you are daft or dumb or even a mix of both. Do you really think i don't plan on opening it before stealing it"

"Whatever" I waved her off.

"What do you want to eat?" I asked heading towards the kitchen.

"Just get me juice"

I was walking towards the living room when she suddenly shouted.

"I did it!!!!!" She screamed almost making me drop the glass of juice.

"Will you keep down your voice. Dan is sleeping" I scolded.

"Sorry, I opened it" She said.

"Praise the lord" I said with an obvious hint of sarcasm.

We ended up scrolling through her messages and found out that Ethan's mom was asking Lillian to pay someone.

"Give it to him in person by thursday evening and collect the damn stuff before people find out, any funny mistake and you're gone" I read the message out loud.

"Am going to guess that gone means dead" Della stated.

"So now that we have the time, am guessing we follow her in order to know this mysterious person" I said.

"You're finally using your brain" Della said and i raised up my middle finger at her while she laughed.

"I was thinking of something"

"Which is"

"Move in with me"

"Why, what would you tell your brother and how do you plan on explaining to your mom that am staying with you?"

"Give yourself a damn break, my mom rarely visits me actually she has never set foot into my house. i can't just imagine how you and Dan cope in this filthy and stinking place"

"Do you really have to call it that?"

"That's the nicest way i can describe it."

"Indeed"

"So when do you plan on moving in?"

"When we find out who this mysterious person is"

He was there laying in a pool of blood calling out my name, the tears where rushing down more than ever, he is in pain, he doesn't deserve this. I ran towards and when i was about reaching for his hands. I woke up from the nightmare, it has been going on for about two to three weeks now. He is always in every one of my dreams, both the good ones and the bad ones. i want him back..... I stared at the ceiling for hours before finally going back to sleep.

"You look bad, i mean worse than usual" Del said.

"I agree, you look like a zombie" Scott, Ethan's friend said.

"Why is he here again?" i asked.

"He knows about everything and wants to help"Del explained.

"You guys should admit it, you both need me"Scott said

"Did i ever tell you how much i hate you"I said.

"The feeling is actually mutual" He said while Del snicker. Idiots.

"Are you guys sure she is actually meeting this person today" He asked and before i could give him an answer Lillian got out of the building into her car and starts drives off.

"Do i need to explain that you also need to start driving to follow her?" I asked Del

"Damn, who stole your favorite dildo?" She asks as she starts driving. I completely ignore her because arguing with both of them is the most stupid thing to do and i have learned that.

We were following her for over two hours.

"Where the fuck is she going?" Scott asked, Del and i stare at each other and decide to ignore, after what seems like hours she finally pull over at an abandoned building and almost few seconds later, a car drove in.

"Guys, that's Jeremy's car" Scott pointed out.

Jeremy was Ethan's bestfriend along with Scott. He was one of the few people Ethan trusts with his whole life and now it seems like he is connected to whatever is happening.

The duo got out of their respective cars and exchanged some kind of papers before finally leaving.

"I can't believe this" Del said.

"Ok, the one thing we need to know now is what the hell they just exhanged"Scott said and i hummed.

"How about you visit your mom's office today Del?" Scott asked.

"And why would i do that?"

"You really need to use your brain. Lillian will eventually report back to her master and you will be there to get the information we need." I explained.

"How on earth is she the smart one and you the dumb one now?" Scott asked while pointing to me.

"I will fucking murder you" Del threatened while the both of us laughed at her.

I need to prepared myself, whatever is going on, am sure am not going to like it.....

The three of us ended up at Scott's apartment three days later.

"So, what did you find?" I asked Del.

"She asked her to deliver around three million dollars in exchange for the dashcam"Del explained.

"The dashcam that was in Ethan's car at the time of the accident?" I asked and she nodded.

"And were you able to take it?" Scott asked and she replied with a yes.

We watch Ethan drive to the a house which looks rather familiar and meet up with a woman, he spoke with the woman for a few minutes, she handed him something and he drove off. He ended up driving to the junkyard and when he was about coming out someone opened the door and grabbed him.

"So something obvioudly happened between him and that person" Del said and we nodded.

" That house he visited looks familiar" I said.

"Do you know the place?" Scott asked.

"I think so but i can't really pinpoint the place"I replied and he nodded.

I was about getting up when the doorbell rang. He went over and barely seconds later he ran back in.

"Ethan is here"

"Fuck" i said. We were looking for where to hide because one, Ethan hates when Del visits any of his friends and two, i can't find a good explanation as to where and how i know Scott. We ended up hiding in Scott's closet.

"Why is he here?" Del asked me.

"Probably because he is best friend" i replied.

We both tense up when the door to the bedroom opened.

"I don't know Scott but i feel like am making a huge mistake marrying Joesphine"Ethan said.

"Why do you think so?"

"I know mom said that we were dating before my accident but Joe is acting weird"

"How weird?"

"Really weird. She always want to know how many properties i have, my worth and if i have any insurance and she doesn't want me to go anywhere near Della's house. I mean Della is my fucking sister" He ranted.

"What is he saying?"Del asked and i quickly shushed her but Della being the idiot that she is kept trying to listen and we both end up opening the door and fall down on each other.

We have been caught........Ethan staring at us and Scott giving us the are you fucking kidding me look......
