Chapter - 111

Fifteen minutes I've been sheltering in front of the school. It was raining this afternoon and Mom couldn't pick me up. I squealed, remembering Juno and Javier who had gone home first with a friend leaving me still trapped in the rain at a school that had begun to recede. 

It's still raining, holding me back for shelter here. My hands were outstretched, greeting the raindrops that felt cold on the skin. The sky has darkened even though the clock just shows at half past four in the afternoon. 

My finger moves playing the phone, opening the group chat. 

(Group chat) 

[J Siblings]

Me: anyone please pick me up

Me: I'm still stuck raining at school

Jeno: Didn't you pick you up? 

Javier: just take a taxi, or go home with Juno

Me: @Jeno mother can't pick me up, she's got an impromptu meeting

Me: @Javier Juno is home with his friend, I'm afraid if I take a taxi alone

Jeno: Why did you leave Jesya
