"Ice cream or Pizza?"
I thought for a moment, weighing the two options Keith had to offer. After all this time not coming home together, finally today I'm back home from school with Keith's favorite big bike.
This afternoon my mom had a meeting in her office so couldn't pick me up and my two brothers. I was happy to ask Keith to drive me home, while Juno and Javier came home with a friend.
As usual before coming home, Keith and I would stop by for a snack or a quick picnic by the lake. But because the weather this afternoon is cloudy, I don't think we're going to the lake.
"Ice cream!" I said, deciding on one of the two options. Keith nodded and raised his thumb with an 'okay' sign.
Then we walked to the parking lot, the atmosphere of the school was still crowded because the new bell rang a few minutes ago.
My body snapped a little when I arrived - suddenly Keith pulled me over from behind avoiding two blokes ru
After driving Jesya home, Keith immediately pulls his motorcycle gas towards Frisly's school. Lately Keith has been picking up Frisly since Jesya came home with her mother.Keith waited a while in front of frisly school gate, today Frisly came home late because he had to rehearse the band first."Keith!" the thud of Frisly's voice pierces Keith's auditory senses. Keith's head spontaneously turned, finding Frisly running small towards him making the girl's long unraveled hair fly spoiled."Don't run," Keith warned, spontaneously frisly's pace slowly slowing down, obeying Keith's orders."Have you waited a long time?" asked Frisly as she stood in front of Keith.Keith shook his head with a smile, "Not too long," keith replied as he thrust the helmet at Frisly.Frisly received Keith's helmet and wore it, after his helmet had been attached to his head, Frisly immediately climbed on Keith's bike."
"Ca, Keith's waiting for you outside."I turned around, found Jeno standing by my door, telling me keith had arrived outside."Yes wait a minute," I said while polishing thin lipgloss to my lips. Afterwards I got up from the dressing table chair, ran small out of the room while wearing my tiny slingbag. It's Saturday, and I accept Keith's invitation to come to Frisly's school event. My feet went down the stairs nimbly, my eyes looked outwards, but all I saw was Keith's big bike parked in the front yard."Where are you going, Ca?" asked Juno who had just come out of the kitchen, I'm guessing Juno must have just brewed hot chocolate because the cup in his hand kept steaming.I rolled up the sleeves of my shirt until the elbow, "I want to go" I replied afterwards."Who's the same?" asked Juno again increasingly curious."Keith" I replied and walked into the backyard, looking for my mom whereabouts.
I grunted, staring at the stage with a face of no interest. Frisly performed a few hours ago, but until this point I was at Frisly's school, sitting alone because Keith was going nowhere with Frisly. It sucks, doesn't it?They've always been nice to each other, showing closeness in front of me. A few times I asked, what did Keith say to me for? Watching her make-up with Frisly?I had a little jerk, found a guy sitting next to me, on an empty bench that Kietg was sitting on."Hey" said the guy pointed at me. I looked to the right and left, making sure who the bloke was saying hello to."Hey" I answered it a little clumsy. The guy smiled knot, giving rise to his sweet dimples, "Are you alone?." The way the guy talks is very gentle, but somehow I feel weird."Yes, I'm alone" I replied afterwards, then headed forward trying to be indifferent to the friendly guy."You're not a student
"What do you think about Keith, Dad?"The four sentences that Jeno said successfully made me glare. My Dad glanced at me, then played his lips, seemed to be thinking about something."He's good at chess." Dad replied, making me breathe freely."That's not what I mean, if Keith is Kesya's girlfriend, Dad would you agree or not?"I shook my head, looking at Jeno in disbelief. What kind of frontal question is that?Dad looked at me, looked at me with a gaze that I couldn't make sense of. In the next second my father shook his head. And I know what Dad said next."Focus on school, not dating because you are still kids" replied Dad making my shoulders drooping. My lips pursed unconsciously. Disappointed over my father's disapproval."That means when Jesya has graduated from school she can date, Dad?" Jeno asked, unsatisfied, as if he were digging into my father's view of the real Keith.I was silent, reluctant to give a protest to J
Fifteen minutes I've been sheltering in front of the school. It was raining this afternoon and Mom couldn't pick me up. I squealed, remembering Juno and Javier who had gone home first with a friend leaving me still trapped in the rain at a school that had begun to recede. It's still raining, holding me back for shelter here. My hands were outstretched, greeting the raindrops that felt cold on the skin. The sky has darkened even though the clock just shows at half past four in the afternoon. My finger moves playing the phone, opening the group chat.(Group chat)[J Siblings]Me: anyone please pick me upMe: I'm still stuck raining at schoolJeno: Didn't you pick you up?Javier: just take a taxi, or go home with JunoMe: @Jeno mother can't pick me up, she's got an impromptu meetingMe: @Javier Juno is home with his friend, I'm afraid if I take a taxi aloneJeno: Why did you leave Jesya
"Ca, I bought a gift for my mom. Frisly chose it yesterday," Keith said as I landed a hole in my chair. I looked at Keith with a careless expression, then pulled my stationery out of the bag."Oh, what gift did you buy for your mom?" I asked, busy with my own world."Ring," replied Keith answering my question with gusto.I nodded. Not knowing since when Keith so likes to talk like this, usually if it's in class Keith will turn into an incarnation of live ice cubes."Do you think I'm going to like not a gift from me?"I raised my shoulders not knowing. Anyway, as much as I could, I wasn't provoked to participate in Keith's random chat."Ca--""Keith" I cut keith's words. Put on an irritated face, staring at the middle of the guy whose speech was restrained."I want to learn, you're bothering me," I said pressing, Keith scratching his throat clumsily then rising from the chair next to me.
The four brothers' residence is now having dinner. A rare moment saw the four eating the tomb at the same table. Turns out they were holding her talk, not leaving Jesya alone at home."Je, after dinner please help me teach you a school assignment" quipped Javier who had finished his last mouthful.Jeno who heard it immediately nodded approvingly."You have no job either, Ca?" asked Jeno to Jesua who was still chewing her food.Jesya shook her head, "I've done my job all," Jesya replied, giving javier his cocky stare. It's meant to be a bad thing for that guy.Juno raises his thumb, then rubs Jesya's hair showing her appreciation."You came home with Juno, right, Ca?" asked Jeno while cleaning up his dirty dishes.Juno said, "Je, Jesya is still eating, don't talk to me," Jesya's protest warns. But believe me, there's a point behind Javier's remarks."No! Juno left me!" replied an e
"Actually I could have bought you two movie tickets for you and Jesya to watch. But the thing is, my dad won't give you permission to watch the movies alone!" explained Juno who had just accepted his defeat. Like the agreement he made, the loser will give a movie ticket, but unfortunately June just remembered how protective her father was to Jesya. And Juno is convinced that his father will not give permission to let Jesya go to the movies together with her male friends.Keith smiled at the knot, covering up his disappointment, "It's okay, it doesn't matter. I don't take that seriously either," Keith replied. In his heart he regrets why he didn't let Juno beat him so he could go to the movies with Jesua, even though he was with his three brothers Jesya as well."Just excuse you, Ju! Let's just say you don't have any money!" said Javier.Juno points an eye at Javier, then pulls out his wallet. "Look, I can buy the movie theater too!" said Juno, who to
A few years later... Arjeno believes in destiny that controls his life. Whatever he received and lost from him was already the will of the time of power. Like, have Hanin. Running a long distance relationship for three years, is not an easy thing. There are many obstacles that Hanin and Arjeno found halfway through. Misunderstandings, longing, and jealousy. And Arjeno swears, among the three things, longing is the most excruciating thing. But gradually, they have a way to find a way out of every problem that comes. Whether Arjeno or Hanin relented, they always learned not to put forward a sense of ego. Arjeno stared at the reflection of himself in front of the mirror, his sturdy body wrapped in a black tuxedo complete with a bow tie coiled around the collar. His hair was neatly arranged, his feet were wrapped in a pair of kinclong leather shoes. He really took care of the groom today. After going through a long journey in the process
"DADDY!!!" Raquel screamed in shock as soon as she saw the results of his haircut that became his own father's guinea pig. Meanwhile, Jhonny held back the laughter of seeing Raquel's hair that did not match his expectations. Raquel stomped his feet annoyed on the floor, his face already buckled between being irritated with Jhonny and holding back tears because his hair became an undirected mess. "I don't want to know, just give my hair back!" enraged Raquel as he rubbed his watery eyes. Staring unwillingly at his haircuts on the floor. Jhonny scratched his nape with a laugh that was not over yet. Raquel's haircut was so weird. "Dad!" cried Raquel because he was annoyed at Jhonny's reaction who laughed with satisfaction. "Give me my hair back!" added Raquel as he tugged at the T-shirt Jhonny was wearing. Jhonny put the comb and Clipper on the table then he grabbed Raquel's petite body and rubbed his son's shoulders, in fact Jho
"Do you know the substitute lecturer?" asked Marcus to Wilona. The girl who was currently dropping her head on the cafeteria table. Wilona was still embarrassed because during class she called Albert's name so loudly. Even more surprisingly, it turned out that Albert was a substitute lecturer at this campus.Wilona shook her head in disbelief. How could the man who lived one roof with her turn out to be a lecturer on her campus? "No, I don't know him." Wilona replied lying. After all, it is impossible to tell Marcus and Arjeno that she and Albert actually live on the same roof. Wilona doesn't want Marcus and Arjeno to think of her as an untrue woman because she lives one in the same house as a foreign man.Marcus nodded his head, trying to believe it even though the shock of Wilona's body and facial expressions were not so convincing. "Today our campus site is filled with photos of him. Many mentioned and became fans of Mr. Albert." Marcus as the most upd
"You went home last night?" "Hmm... I was afraid that the people in your house were asleep, so I went home." "Good." Arjeno retorted, making Marcus round his eyes. This afternoon they were having lunch in the campus cafeteria. Arjeno questioned Marcus who last night did not return home. That's a good thing because finally Arjeno again felt calm in his room, but strangely last night Arjeno was a little worried about Marcus who was out of nowhere. Fortunately this morning Arjeno was able to see firsthand the existence of Marcus who turned out to be fine. "Wilona!" Suddenly Marcus called Wilona in a loud voice. Making Arjeno spontaneously stare at the direction Marcus was looking at, there was Wilona who seemed to be looking for an empty table, in both hands of the girl was her lunch tray. "Come here!" asked Marcus to make Arjeno raise a pair of eyebrows. "Don't be pretentiously familiar! I am afraid that you will embarrass yourself!" Arjeno whis
"Arje said, this is called healing.""Healing?" Wilona repeated Marcus's remarks with a wrinkled forehead. Although they were on their way, but both ears could still catch what the interlocutor said. "Yes. Arje said he would do something like this if he was stressed. Around jakarta traffic, it turned out to be exciting too." Marcus said as he stared at the street in front of him. It was already starting at night, the streets were getting quieter and a feeling of relief always hit Marcus when he split jakarta traffic. Cool air, street lights that beautify the scenery. True. It's healing. The thoughts that gathered and became tangled threads on his head instantly disappeared. Marcus immediately forgot the problem that was befalling him."Marcus, can we stop for a while? I want to sit in that chair." Wilona asks Marcus to stop his bike when he sees an empty seat available by the side of the road. Marcus nodded, then pulled over his big mo
The smell of coffee and toast that came out this morning made Wilona wake up from her sleep. As if hypnotized, the woman walked straight out of the room with her eyes still open. Albert, who was sipping coffee while reading the newspaper in the pantry, immediately gasped and smiled broadly at Wilona who was only wearing an oversized t-shirt complete with her adorable waking face, but looked sexy in her eyes.Albert whistled, his eyes still staring at Wilona from top to bottom with a judging look."Wow, sexy," Albert said as he bit his lower lip tempted.Hearing the sound of other creatures, Wilona's forehead frowned, spontaneously her eyes opened wide and then shouted when she was conscious and found Albert who was looking at her with a look of wanting to pounce. Practically Wilona screamed and ran into the room. While Albert was panting again, he couldn't believe it saw Wilona's exaggerated response, the woman seemed to be exhausted from seeing astral cre
Wilona POVThe sunlight that penetrated the bedroom window made my hands spontaneously move blocking my eyes from the glare. I blinked for a while before finally straightening up. I sighed, my body felt crushed all after last night passed a fairly long journey from Bandung to Jakarta.I smiled faintly at the mini cactus tree located in front of the window. Two weeks of vacation in Bandung makes the feeling of longing for everything in this tiny flat become more and more. Fortunately, yesterday I decided to go home because the day after tomorrow I was back in college, it felt very good to enjoy the atmosphere in the morning in my restroom.I got out of bed, walked towards the Echinocactus grusonii cactus that I named Echi. "Morning, Echi." I said hello while throwing my first smile today. My hand moved grabbing the bottle next to the Echi pot and then spraying the water on my Echi."Mama loves breakfast, isn't it?" I muttered to the golden-spiked m
"Didn't you just move? But it seems that you are very familiar with your neighbors?" Nadeo asked as he sipped his fresh ice head and cooled his throat. Hanin, who was also sipping ice head while looking at the expanse of sea water, then turned her head at a glance to Nadeo, "My neighbor just moved... I don't know how we got... Near? Can it be called close?" A pair of Hanin eyebrows linked, asking about what Nadeo said. Can she and Jhonny be called close? They just met yesterday? And everything just flows, Hanin who is not good at socializing feels comfortable to talk to the adorable Jhonny and Raquel. Until finally... Hanin visits Jhonny's house only to see the man cooking?! Hanin was flabbergasted, without her noticing, she and Jhonny approached. Not as a woman and a man, but as a neighbor. That fast? "Of course, you visited his house. And before maybe you chatted until you forgot that you had made an appointment with us." Rylee responded. Made Hanin p
It turns out that Jhonny is an architect who is good at cooking. Jhonny didn't tell Hanin where his excellent cooking skills came from. But really, Jhonny's cooking is really good! "So, the chocolate cake that you made yesterday yourself?" Hanin gawked in disbelief at Jhonny who currently looked charming with an apron attached to his athletic body. "So you think I bought it?" Jhonny asked back, making Hanin nod his head innocently. Hanin is currently in Jhonny's kitchen. The man took Hanin to breakfast together even though they had eaten a sandwich but he said the sandwich was not enough to block his stomach until noon, so Hanin sat on the pantry chair looking at Jhonny who was busy with his weapon in the kitchen. "If I can make it myself, why should I buy it." retorted Jhonny. Hanin dropped his chin on the pantry, his eyes still glued to the astonishment towards Jhonny who was slicing leeks so quickly and painstakingly. In a matter
