CHAPTER TWENTY TWO

Nelson's eyes broadened in shock at the principal's utterance. He spun his gaze to meet Tasha's blaring stare. He disguised his surprise with a frail smile.

"Thank you so much ma'am. This is highly appreciated. Thank you" the principal said as his hands quivered with the cheque trembling to the cadence of his shakes.

"You're welcome" Tasha muttered. She zipped her purse. She looked at Nelson and rolled her eyes back to the principal. "We need to go" she declared.
